1. Location of Shinsa Minbak London
I wasn't planning an extended stay in London, and with a tour scheduled, I simply needed a comfortable place to sleep. As many of you know, London accommodations can be incredibly expensive.
That's why I started looking into guesthouses. Among the many options available, I prioritized finding a place close to King's Cross Station, comparing several based on location.

I found Shinsa Minbak, a guesthouse located about a 10-minute walk from King's Cross Station. It's easily searchable on Google.
Shinsa Minbak operates multiple locations, which added to my confidence in booking. I stayed at their main branch, which features two showers.

I specifically booked a single room. A private room here typically costs around ~$75 per night. Shared dormitory-style guesthouse rooms are, of course, even more budget-friendly.

2. My Review of Shinsa Minbak's Single Room in London
Upon arrival at the guesthouse, I received my key. The building is two stories, and my single room was conveniently located next to a bathroom.

The room door was key-operated, and following Korean tradition, shoes were removed at the entrance. The second floor felt more like a typical guesthouse dormitory, accommodating more guests, with separate sections for men and women.

I simply dropped off my luggage and headed out. It's important to note that specific check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced due to cleaning schedules. It’s always best to confirm these details when you arrive, as they can sometimes vary.
Check-in is typically after 4 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM. The period between 10 AM and 4 PM is designated for cleaning, meaning guests must vacate their rooms during these hours. (So, no sleeping in if you're staying multiple nights!)
Another crucial point: towels are not provided, so remember to pack your own!

Being a single room, it felt quite clean and well-maintained.
3. Essential Tips for Your Stay at Shinsa Minbak London
I was particularly impressed by the Dyson hairdryer and a fan in the room. Did you know that many accommodations in Europe don't even provide a simple fan, let alone a high-quality hairdryer?

For groceries and snacks, there's a Tesco supermarket just around the corner – less than a 5-minute walk away! It's perfect for grabbing some essentials, snacks, or drinks. You can also store your items in the communal refrigerator; just remember to label them with your name.

Finding a clean, private single room in London for around ~$75 is quite a feat, isn't it? Despite the shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, I found them to be clean and convenient to use.
With a simple Western-style breakfast served between 7-8 AM, I highly recommend Shinsa Minbak if you're looking for an affordable and well-located stay near King's Cross in London.
