I admit, the admission ticket price was quite steep,

so I tried to compare options a bit more before booking.

But I ended up missing out on my preferred morning slot,

and ultimately had to book for a different date ㅠㅠ

I highly recommend booking this one in advance.

1. London Harry Potter Studio Tour Ticket Prices & Transportation Cost Comparison

For 2026, the official admission ticket price when booking on the website

starts from £58.50 for adults!

Prices are set to increase to £61 in 2027,

so if you can go this year,

it's a good idea to book quickly!

However, since the studio isn't located in central London,

you need to compare prices including transportation costs.

I'll show you a direct price comparison across different sites and options!

All prices are based on a visit on December 3rd.

Klook was the cheapest even when I booked,

and it still offers the lowest prices for both standalone admission and train-inclusive options!

Let me tell you how to choose the best option!

You also need to consider the cost of purchasing a separate train ticket from Euston Station to Watford Junction.

The train-inclusive ticket is ~$32 more expensive.

However, even if you buy a train ticket on the spot,

it costs around ~$32!

So, if you plan to travel by train from the start, the train-inclusive option is a good choice.

But before booking, make sure to check your accommodation's location!

You need to see if it's more advantageous to take the train from your hotel,

or if taking an Uber would be closer!

Since my accommodation was near the airport,

I opted to take an Uber directly instead of going all the way to Euston Station.

Sometimes, taking an Uber directly to Watford Junction

can be closer and more convenient than going to Euston Station from your accommodation,

so make sure to check your accommodation's location!

If you're traveling with two or more people, you can split the Uber fare,

which might even make it cheaper than the train-inclusive package!

What's crucial to know at this point?

Absolutely do NOT take an Uber directly to the studio's main entrance.

Get off at Watford Junction Station!

A free shuttle bus will get you there in about 15 minutes.

If you take an Uber for this segment, it'll take the same amount of time, but you'll just end up paying more for the taxi fare.

The shuttle even played Harry Potter videos,

so I really enjoyed the journey itself!

2. Why I Recommend Morning Entry

On average, a visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in the UK

takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

But if you're a Harry Potter fan,

you'll find four hours fly by with taking photos, sipping Butterbeer, and exploring the gift shop.

I definitely recommend morning entry!​

Entering in the morning allows you to explore fully

and still fit in other London itinerary spots in the evening.

However, entry times vary by date,

so be sure to check the calendar when booking.

Here's a special insider tip from me!

Before entering the Great Hall,

the guide might ask if anyone is celebrating a birthday or other special occasion.

Be sure to raise your hand then!​

You might get the unique chance to personally open

the doors to the Great Hall!

Of course, this depends on the on-site proceedings.

Also, from November 14, 2026,

to January 17, 2027,

there will be a special 'Hogwarts in the Snow' Christmas exhibition.

Imagine seeing a snow-covered Hogwarts Castle –

it'll make your year-end UK trip even more magical, right?

3. Butterbeer & Merchandise Review (London's 'Must-Try' Foods?)

Honestly, don't get your hopes up for the food at the

UK Harry Potter Studio Tour! Lol

You can grab a simple meal at the Food Hall and Backlot Café.

The burger I had, honestly, was really disappointing.

Instead, the Butterbeer and Butterbeer ice cream were

absolutely delicious – good enough to be on any 'London must-try' list!

Especially if you get an item that includes a souvenir cup,

you can take the cup home, which is a nice bonus.

The merchandise shop appears at the end of the tour,

and the prices are quite steep.

Even as a huge Harry Potter fan, I just admired everything

and ended up not buying anything.

You can find related merchandise all over London,

so it's perfectly fine to only buy what truly catches your eye!

4. Booking at the Best Price & Discount Coupons

My biggest regret when booking the London Harry Potter Studio Tour

wasn't paying too much.

It was missing my desired morning entry time because

I was trying to find a slightly cheaper ticket.

In the end, I had to book for a different date

and readjust my entire London itinerary.
