To truly explore Ala-Archa National Park, nestled near Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan,
I had the incredible opportunity to stay at ALTO Cabins –
a breathtaking accommodation situated at an elevation of 2,000 meters above sea level!
I was instantly smitten and booked it just from the photos,
but experiencing it in person was even more magical – the scenery was absolutely stunning!

3. Exploring the Accommodation: Exterior & Interior
ALTO Cabins is located approximately 30km from Bishkek,
which translates to a scenic drive of about 40-60 minutes.
Since there are some unpaved sections of road,
I highly recommend traveling during daylight hours for a smoother journey!
(The accommodation also offers a paid transfer service upon request)
You can collect your room key and check in at the combined restaurant and reception area.
Arriving at this enchanting accommodation, nestled deep within the magnificent Tian Shan Mountains,
the very first thing that captured my attention was the striking triangular A-frame cabins!
Located at an altitude of approximately 3,000m,
with mountain peaks stretching out around it,
it had a serene atmosphere that you can't feel in the city.
4. Room Condition
Each cabin has a spacious terrace,
where you can enjoy panoramic views stretching to the
surrounding mountain peaks, valleys, and even Bishkek in the distance!
Just sitting on the terrace, doing nothing,
and gazing at the scenery was a truly memorable experience.
When you open the door and step into the room, it's unlike a typical hotel
as it's incredibly spacious with a two-story layout!
Inside the room, you can fully appreciate the outdoor scenery
through the expansive windows.
With a bedroom, living room, dining area, and kitchen,
it felt very much like renting a private mountain villa.
The fully equipped kitchen makes it perfect for
preparing simple meals after a trip to the supermarket,
or for enjoying delicious takeout!
With a kettle, coffee, and tea readily available,
it was also lovely to enjoy a warm cup.
Head up to the second floor, and you'll find a beautifully maintained
bedroom with a spacious bed.
The second-floor bedroom features a projector, Netflix,
and YouTube, making it the perfect cozy spot to relax and enjoy a movie in the evening!
The bathroom on the first floor was impeccably clean and
spacious, which made it very comfortable.
With shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a toothbrush/toothpaste
all amenities provided,
there was no need to bring anything extra!

Breakfast is included in the accommodation fee,
so you can leisurely enjoy your morning amidst the mountains.
It was the last day of my trip, and I was so tired
that I couldn't make it, but I really hope you get to try the breakfast! 🥺
The breakfast spot is a restaurant,
and since this accommodation is deep in the mountains,
it might be a great idea to have dinner here
instead of heading down to Bishkek!
