Get the most out of the Kiss of the Sea show in Phu Quoc with this 2026 guide on cheap ticket deals, the best seats for fireworks, and essential tips.

Think Phu Quoc is just a sleepy island with nothing to do at night? Think again!
There is a mind-blowing multimedia spectacular you cannot miss:
The Kiss of the Sea Show! 🎇🎆

Set against a massive water stage,
this Sun World production combines fireworks, water fountains, laser lights, music, and live performances into one epic experience.
✅ Here is my honest review on ticket booking, seating tips, and showtimes
to help you plan the perfect night out in Phu Quoc!

After a relaxing afternoon massage, we headed over to Sunset Town.
The show is located inside Sun World Sunset Town, a massive European-style theme park complex.
It is highly walkable, so you can easily stroll around before the gates open.

We thought about grabbing a quick bite before the show, but nothing really caught our eye, so we skipped it.
However, the atmosphere inside is very casual, and you are allowed to eat during the performance.
I highly recommend bringing some light snacks and drinks with you.
If you arrive early to snag the best seats, you will have some waiting time to kill!

We booked our tickets online in advance for around ~$19 per person.
If you buy them at the gate on the day of the show, they cost around ~$32, so booking ahead is a no-brainer!

The entry process was incredibly smooth.
You can use Face ID or just scan your digital QR code to breeze right in.

100% Honest, Self-Funded Review ★
I booked tickets for our entire family group of 7.
While buying on-site costs ~$32,
✔️ we got them for just ~$19 each by booking through a highly-rated discount platform.
I highly recommend doing this to save some serious cash!

There is a fun photo zone right at the entrance!
It gets super crowded after the show, so grab your photos on the way in if you can.

Many reviews warned that the front rows are actually too close to the action.
So, we chose seats towards the middle-back, right in the center, and it was perfect!
✔️ Even if you cannot get a center seat, the side sections are still great. Just avoid sitting too close to the front.
Some say you can show up right before showtime and still find a spot,
✔️ but in reality, you should arrive at least 30 minutes early to secure the best viewing angle.

Kiss of the Sea actually has a fully developed storyline from start to finish. 💋
The opening performance where the cast enters with glowing fire rods was incredibly cool. You can actually feel the heat radiating from the stage! 🔥

The digital graphics projected onto the water screen were fantastic.
It is definitely a story that kids and families will absolutely love.
The coolest part of the performance was the acrobatic trampoline jump show!

Just when you think it might be getting a bit slow, the crowd erupts with cheers!
I found myself completely glued to the performance. It was highly entertaining! 👏🏻👏🏻
While the plot is not the most important part, here is how the show is structured:
1. The Birth of the Ocean
2. The Meeting of Land and Sea
3. Conflict and Chaos
4. Reconciliation and Harmony
5. The Climax: A Spectacular Fireworks Finale!
This is what the view looks like from the middle-back center seats.
When the fire effects and fireworks merged together, it was absolutely thrilling!
✨ Sparkling and magical! ✨

My parents mentioned that the bright flashing lights made their eyes a bit tired, and for me, the booming sound of the fireworks was pretty loud. You might want to cover your ears if you are sensitive to noise!
Still, watching the entire sky light up from start to finish was completely worth it.
If you have sensitive eyes or ears, sitting further back and slightly off-center might be a more comfortable option.

At the end, the performers came down to the front of the stage to wave and interact with the crowd, leaving everyone with a big smile.
The show starts at 9:00 PM and runs for about 30 minutes.
It was the perfect way to wrap up a great day of travel in Phu Quoc.

After the show, we treated ourselves to a delicious steak dinner right next to our hotel!

✅ While the show starts at 9:00 PM, arrive at least 30 minutes early to secure a prime seat in the middle-back section.
☑️ Sit further back rather than right up front for the best panoramic view of the fireworks.

According to the article, the ticket price when buying on-site is around ~$32. On the other hand, if you book in advance, you can purchase it for around ~$19 per person, making advance booking much cheaper.
Since the front seats are too close to the stage, the center seats towards the back are highly recommended as the best spots. If you are visually sensitive, it is better to sit in the rear side seats rather than the center.
To get your preferred seat, you should arrive at least 30 minutes before the show starts. Since arriving early may result in a longer waiting time, it is recommended to prepare some light snacks in advance to eat inside the venue.
The show runs for about 30 minutes starting at 9 PM. You can enjoy a fountain show set against a large water stage, laser lights, a trampoline jump show, and the highlight, a fireworks display.
