Kiss of the Sea Phu Quoc Ticket Prices 2026: Rainy Day Guide
Worried about the Phu Quoc rainy season? Discover why the spectacular Kiss of the Sea show in Sunset Town is actually the perfect rainy day activity!

This is Heeya, and I've already traveled to Phu Quoc three times—
with two of those trips being right in the middle of the rainy season...
If you're gearing up for an upcoming rainy season trip to Phu Quoc,
you might be feeling a bit anxious about the weather.
But there is one outdoor show in Sunset Town that I highly recommend
even on a rainy day: Kiss of the Sea.

Since this performance features massive water screens and fire cannons,
water splashes everywhere even on a clear day,
which is why almost everyone buys and wears a raincoat at the entrance anyway!
So whether it rains or shines,
you'll have the exact same spectacular, action-packed experience!

Booking your tickets in advance is way cheaper
than buying them on-site.
I've compared ticket platforms and threw in a discount code below,
so make sure to check it out!

It's easy to assume that a rainy season trip to Phu Quoc
will completely ruin all of your outdoor plans,
but watching this outdoor show in Sunset Town made me think,
"Hey, traveling during the rainy season is actually pretty amazing!"
and completely changed my perspective.
"Watching an outdoor performance in the rain?"
There's absolutely zero need to worry about that with Kiss of the Sea.
It's a show I would definitely love to watch again!
Kiss of the Sea Location & Sunset Town Picture-Perfect Route Tips
To properly enjoy this incredible show,
planning your route is absolutely essential.

Sunset Town itself feels like a massive Mediterranean theme park,
so arriving right at showtime would be a huge waste!
✅ Kiss of the Sea Location
At the very end of Sunset Town,
the waterfront stage is close to the Hon Thom Island Cable Car station.
✅ Kiss of the Sea Showtimes
Starts daily at 9:00 PM
(Lasts about 30 minutes / Closed on Tuesdays)
✅ Heeya's Recommended Sunset Town Half-Day Route

Take the Hon Thom Island Cable Car during the day
to enjoy the water park to the fullest,
and head over to Sunset Town in the late afternoon.

Hop on a buggy car cruising through the Sunset Town alleys
to get around comfortably
and take some unforgettable photos!

The colors of the buildings are so vibrant
that your photos will turn out bright and beautiful, even on cloudy or rainy days.

Before the show, browse the Vui Fest Night Market,
grab a sweet mango bingsu nearby
to recharge your energy,
and wrap up by taking in the stunning Phu Quoc sunset!

If you time your visit right
and head in before the evening show starts,
you'll have the perfect, seamless itinerary with absolutely zero wasted steps.

Even Perfect for Phu Quoc's Rainy Season!
Don't make the mistake of thinking this is just a simple musical fountain show.
With a solid, gripping storyline about love between an alien and an earthling,
it's a massive, multi-sensory masterpiece
blending water, fire, and spectacular lasers.
The quality was so much higher than I expected,
it honestly blew me away.
And here’s a super important pro-tip for watching the show!

They sell disposable rain ponchos at the entrance of the venue
(for 20,000 VND),
and word is you should absolutely buy and wear one
even on a perfectly clear, sunny day.

This is because the water screens
and the massive, roaring pillars of fire are on such a huge scale
that if you sit in the front rows,
you’ll get drenched in water spray, rain or shine!
Since everyone expects to get splashed
and buys a poncho anyway,
it didn’t feel awkward at all to watch the show
even during the rainy season.

In fact, when it rains, the spectacular lasers scatter through the raindrops,
making the atmosphere feel even more dreamlike and majestic.
And now, the real highlight of the show!

Once the main 30-minute show ends,
the "Kiss of the Sea" fireworks display fills the night sky
for an incredible 7 minutes.
Watching these massive fireworks burst right before your eyes with an unobstructed view
instantly washes away all your travel fatigue,
leaving you feeling completely refreshed.
