Discover my personal top 9 KALDI Coffee Farm must-haves for your Japan trip! From unique pasta sauces to delicious spreads and coffee, these are my ultimate re-purchase picks.

Hey there, Global Explorers! It's miya here, ready to share some insider tips for your next Japanese adventure.
If you're anything like me, a trip to Japan isn't complete without a stop at KALDI Coffee Farm. Today, I'm diving into my absolute favorite KALDI finds – the ones I consistently repurchase every single time I visit!
Forget the typical "most famous" recommendations. I'm talking about the products I've personally bought, tried, loved, and bought again (and again!). So, if you're planning a Japan trip, get ready to update your shopping list with these hidden gems!
1. Napolitan Sauce

This Napolitan pasta sauce was a staff recommendation I initially bought on a whim, and now it's a permanent fixture on my repurchase list!
I've actually traveled all the way to Yokohama just to try authentic Napolitan pasta, and this sauce comes incredibly close to the famous 'Kitchen Jo' restaurant's flavor.
Seriously, when my supply of this starts running low, I find myself instinctively browsing flights back to Japan. It's that good!
2. Aglio Olio Sauce (30g)

I love making pasta at home, but sometimes the prep work feels like a chore. That's where this Aglio Olio sauce comes in!
Just have some garlic on hand, and you can whip up a delicious meal in no time. Aglio Olio is already a simple dish, but with this sauce, it's practically effortless. I always keep a stash for those days when I just can't be bothered to cook from scratch.
3. Savory Fried Rice Sauce

I'm a huge fan of Japanese-style Chinese fried rice, or "Chahan," and this sauce delivers the closest taste to what you'd get in a restaurant.
You can simply add some green onions and an egg, and you've got a perfectly delicious and easy meal. It's a fantastic go-to for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner!
4. Mont Blanc Cream (130g)

This Mont Blanc cream is absolutely divine spread on lightly toasted bread. KALDI has many famous spreads, but honestly, most of them haven't quite hit the mark for my personal taste.
However, this one is different. It's not overly sweet, and the chestnut flavor is wonderfully rich and deep, making it the perfect companion to a cup of coffee.
5. Cafe KALDI Water Drip Coffee (4-pack)

Okay, this is hands down my absolute favorite product – I literally stock up enough to fill a 20-inch suitcase!
Just pour water into it the night before, pop it in the fridge, and by morning, you'll have a perfectly chilled iced Americano. It's a game-changer for busy mornings.
And if you pair it with some bread spread with the Mont Blanc cream I mentioned earlier? Absolute perfection! 👍
6. Sesame Dressing

I've tried countless salad dressings over the years, but this one is truly my favorite. It just perfectly hits my palate every time.
With a savory sesame base that's slightly sweet, it's a flavor I never get tired of. This dressing was my secret weapon for sticking to salads even when I was trying to eat healthier. Highly recommend it to all fellow salad lovers!
7. Curry Spread

For me, a good snack is either sweet or savory. This curry spread is my go-to for those days when I'm craving something distinctly savory.
On a busy morning, just lightly toast a slice of bread, spread this curry goodness on it, and voilà – a super easy and satisfying meal is ready!
8. Pistachio Chocolate

This chocolate features a sweet milk chocolate base generously studded with real pistachios. While there are a surprising number of pistachios, their flavor isn't overpowering or out of balance.
Instead, they harmonize beautifully with the chocolate, creating a perfect blend of rich, sweet, and nutty. If you find the viral Dubai chocolates a bit too sweet, this one might just be your new favorite!
9. Pork Chashu Sauce

This one is super popular, so many of you might already know about it. I admit, I've been "influenced" by too many Instagram recommendations that didn't pan out, so I held off on buying this for a long time. But I finally tried it, and it's incredibly easy to use and absolutely delicious!
The instructions suggest using it for about 8.8 ounces (250g) of meat, but I found that made it a bit too salty for my taste. When I used it with around 10.6 ounces (300g) of pork, the seasoning was just right.
So there you have it – my top KALDI recommendations! I always find that some items are consistently in stock, while others are seasonal or might be out of stock depending on when you visit.
It might be a little disappointing if you can't find a specific item, but I truly hope you keep these in mind and manage to snag some great finds on your next trip to Japan!
I'll wrap things up here for now and be back soon with more of my personal favorite discoveries.
+ Bonus Tip!
If you're looking for a KALDI in Fukuoka that's a bit off the beaten path and less crowded, just outside the city center, I can share a secret spot! It's larger than the Tenjin KALDI, and for just about ~$2 for the bus fare, you can enjoy a more relaxed shopping experience. Leave a comment if you want the details!
Kaldi Neapolitan Sauce is said to taste most similar to 'Kitchen Jo', a famous Neapolitan restaurant in Yokohama. With just this one sauce, you can enjoy the taste you would have traveled all the way to Yokohama for, right at home.
Kaldi Cafe Water Drip Coffee is sold in a pack of 4 for about ~$5. Simply add water the night before and refrigerate, and you can enjoy a refreshing iced Americano the next morning.
While Kaldi Pork Chashu Sauce is generally explained for 250g of meat, it might taste a bit too salty in that case. It is said that the seasoning is most appropriate when cooked with about 300g of meat.
To visit a Kaldi store located slightly outside Fukuoka city, you need to take one bus ride, and the bus fare is about ~$2. This store has the advantage of being larger and offering a more relaxed shopping experience than Tenjin Kaldi.
