How to Apply Your Agoda Discount Code

Next, I'll explain **how to apply the codes once you've entered through the dedicated link.**

I'm currently planning a trip to Nagoya, Japan, for December, so I'll use Nagoya as an example!

First, as shown in the picture above, search for your travel destination (region or hotel name) in the search bar. Then select your check-in/check-out dates, the number of guests, and the number of rooms, and click 'Search'.

Since I'm planning a trip to Nagoya in December, I selected 'Dormy Inn Premium Natural Hot Spring' in Sakae. You'll notice a new phrase appearing below the accommodation tab that you wouldn't normally see: **'Enter discount code and get a discount'**.

❗️This message **only appears when you enter through the dedicated link, and it must be visible for you to use the discount code.**

Next, you just need to select your desired room and options. Typically, the free cancellation option is usually a few dollars more.

I highly recommend choosing the free cancellation option, just in case you want to change your hotel or your travel plans shift.

Once you click 'Book Now' and proceed,

you'll be taken to the hotel payment page.

This is where you can apply your discount code.

If you scroll down, you'll see a tab labeled 'Apply Coupon'

activated, just like in the left picture.

Click on this tab and enter your discount code, and the discount will be applied

automatically, as shown on the right.

❗️Here's the exciting part: this discount stacks with the

basic discounts you already get based on your Agoda membership tier.

For example, as an Agoda VIP, I already had a discount of ~$28

applied, but on top of that, an additional

8% discount is applied!

Agoda is often already the most affordable option for booking hotels in Japan.

💡But when you apply a discount code on top of that,

you can truly book hotels at an incredibly reasonable price.

That's why I make sure to use it every single time

I plan a trip!

My Review: Saving Costs with Agoda on My Trip

I recently took a trip to Osaka,

and I booked my accommodation through Agoda then too.

Since I had personal leave,

I mainly booked my flight for October 10th.

Only later did I realize that October 12th that week was

a Japanese national holiday: Sports Day!

Because of this, even hotels that were usually affordable

had prices that were 1.5 to 2 times higher during this period.

So, even though it was a weekday trip, the hotel accommodation costs

were a bit steep.

Thankfully, by applying a discount code, I was able to enjoy a spacious, high-quality,

newly built hotel at an affordable price.

The accommodation I used during this time was a hotel called Yushu Futaba

Bed & Breakfast.

✅ It's close to Nippombashi Station, and even though the rooms are incredibly spacious,

it was only just over ~$75 per night, so I was extremely satisfied!

If you're planning a trip to Osaka anytime soon,

definitely use a discount code to book this hotel!

Don't Miss Out When Planning Your Japan Trip!

Today, I introduced the Agoda discount code,

which is incredibly popular among those planning a trip to Japan for hotel bookings.

✅ New members can get a 12% discount, up to $50,

and existing members can also get an 8% discount, up to ~$22,

so you can save a lot more on travel expenses than you might expect!

Especially if you already have a high Agoda membership tier,

this benefit stacks, so it's an absolute must-not-miss!

Honestly, Japanese hotels can be quite expensive these days.

By saving on hotel costs this way, you'll have extra money left over to go on one or two more foodie tours at your destination,

so make sure to take advantage and enjoy an affordable trip to Japan!
