Located in Sapgyo-eup, Yesan, Iri Jungmiso is a spacious cafe beautifully converted from an old heritage rice mill.

Step inside, and you'll find the original vintage milling machinery preserved as a stunning centerpiece, giving the space an incredibly unique, rustic-industrial vibe.

I visited with my grandmother, expecting her to just enjoy the spacious seating.

To my surprise, she was absolutely fascinated by the old milling machinery! It brought back so many nostalgic memories for her, which made the trip feel incredibly rewarding.

True to its scale, the cafe offers plenty of comfortable seating options throughout the first floor.

There’s also a second-floor loft area. While the first floor has its own rustic charm,

the second floor feels cozy and is perfect for larger groups traveling together.

They also have a lovely outdoor garden area.

Although you might not spot the tables in this specific shot,

there is outdoor seating perfect for sunny days.

In the evening, the garden lights up with warm fairy lights, making me promise myself to grab an outdoor spot on my next visit!
