Today, I'll share a detailed review of our 1-night, 2-day stay at

Inje Jajakhyanggi Pension (인제 자작향기 펜션), where you can enjoy

welcomes you with the subtle scent of **cypress wood**

as soon as you open the room door.

From the room to the bathroom, without a speck of dust,

it was kept perfectly clean,

making my stay comfortable throughout.

The water pressure was good,

and hot water flowed freely,

so I felt no discomfort even in the chilly mountain weather.

A hairdryer was also provided;

though small, it was perfectly functional.

The wardrobe was also convenient.

✅Bedding

Thanks to the fluffy and cozy bedding, I was able to sleep soundly.

Personally, I prefer low pillows,

so the pillow here felt a bit high for me.

If you prefer low pillows like me,

I recommend bringing your own!

✅Kitchen

There's a microwave and a kitchen,

so you can cook simple meals.

There was also a small table,

so I bought yogurt and ate it in the morning.

The refrigerator was also well-maintained and clean,

so I used it comfortably.

They even provided two bottles of water!

✅Parking Convenience

Ample parking space is provided,

so even travelers with a lot of luggage

can visit without parking stress.

There are several pension buildings, but they kindly guided us before our visit,

so we could park right in front of the building we were staying in.

2. Location and Recommended Nearby Attractions

(Seoraksan (설악산) & Pille Hot Spring (필레온천) Course)

3. Travel Highlight: Charcoal BBQ Usage Tips

The evening BBQ, which is the highlight of any trip,

is also available here.

If you let them know before dinner time,

they will prepare it for you.

Usage Fee: Additional charge ₩20,000 (~$15)

📌Mart Location

There aren't many large Hanaro Marts (하나로마트) in Inje,

so we used the Hanaro Mart Main Branch (하나로마트 본점)

about 20 minutes away.

✅Usage Tip

If you tell the owner (사장님) your desired time in advance,

they will prepare high-quality charcoal

at the perfect moment.

The charcoal is prepared with fire starters (번개탄),

so there's no problem grilling meat.

However, if you prefer charcoal that has turned white (meaning it's fully ignited and ready),

you might want to ask them to prepare the charcoal

about 30 minutes earlier than your dinner time.

Grilling delicious meat amidst the crackling, burning charcoal aroma

is truly the best!

And grilling sweet potatoes over the remaining charcoal

made for a perfect end to our Inje trip.

instead of a flashy or bustling accommodation,

want to experience complete healing, breathing in the fresh air in a tranquil forest setting.
