Hyatt Regency Seragaki Okinawa Review: Family Pools & Breakfast
Looking for the ideal family getaway in Okinawa? Our 2026 review of Hyatt Regency Seragaki highlights its spacious rooms, amazing pools, and delicious breakfast options.

When I'm choosing accommodation for an Okinawa family trip, what I prioritize is
whether the room is spacious and if there's a great pool for playing.
Especially when traveling with a baby,
it's tough to be out and about all day,
so a place where you can have fun even within the accommodation is definitely more comfortable.

The Hyatt Regency Seragaki,
while a bit on the pricier side, offers everything from twin rooms to a fantastic pool and delicious breakfast,
making it absolutely perfect for a family trip~! Haha!
1. Okinawa Family Trip Accommodation Recommendation
If I'm choosing Seragaki, I'd want to stay for at least two nights.
With a swimming pool and a beach right there, you don't even need to go sightseeing every day,
making it perfect for relaxing with the kids, enjoying water play, and just taking your time.

For me, having an itinerary that includes a day spent just at the resort
definitely makes an Okinawa trip less tiring, haha!
2. Location and Parking

If I were staying here, I'd definitely recommend having a rental car.
Unlike Naha city, you won't find
restaurants and convenience stores clustered right outside the hotel.
Instead, it truly offers that peaceful resort vibe for quiet relaxation.

Self-parking is ~$6 per day.
If I'm traveling with kids, I'd find it easiest to drop off luggage at the hotel entrance first,
then park the car and take the shuttle back.
3. Twin Room Ocean View Review

I absolutely recommend the Twin Room for family trips!!
It's super convenient having two beds,
and some rooms even come with a sofa bed.
For a Japanese hotel, the rooms are quite spacious,
and I loved that they have balconies.

And if the price difference isn't too significant,
I'd definitely opt for an oceanfront room
over a partial ocean view, haha!
Waking up and opening the curtains to see the ocean right there
was actually much better than I expected for a resort stay —
it was A-MA-ZING! Haha!
4. Twin Room Price Comparison

I also compared Twin Room prices for a trip in October.
The rooms I checked were
under the conditions of free cancellation and breakfast not included.
Yeogieottae | Yanolja | Agoda |
~$729 | ~$754 | ~$896 |
Since it's accommodation costing over ~$730,
at first, I wanted to save even a little, haha!
But if the difference isn't much, I'd still go for the oceanfront!
Booked it, but found it cheaper elsewhere? Cancel and rebook?

Yeogieottae offers a Best Price Guarantee,
so if you find a cheaper price after booking,
you can get double the difference compensated!!
After I got ~$13 compensated,
I became a total fan of Yeogieottae!! Hahaha!
It's always reassuring to know you're getting a great deal, even if the difference is small!

6. The Incredible Swimming Pool

One of the biggest reasons I absolutely recommend this for a family trip is because
the swimming pool is absolutely massive!
Outdoors, you'll find both the Guskuku Pool and a stunning lagoon,
plus shallow areas that are absolutely perfect for kids to splash around in.

In October, the outdoor pools are typically open
from 9 AM to 6 PM.
You can even enjoy the night pool until 9 PM during October!
The indoor pool, open year-round from 8 AM to 9 PM, is perfect even if the weather is a bit iffy,
making it a fantastic option for water play with the kids, no matter the conditions.

7. Breakfast & Package Options

When I travel with my little one, breakfast is actually a pretty big deal for me.
It's so much more convenient to just wake up and head straight down for a meal
than to venture out looking for a restaurant first thing in the morning, right? Haha!
Serale breakfast is available until 10:30 AM, and
Adults pay 4,840 yen, and children aged 6 to 12 pay 2,420 yen.
(approximately ~$30 for adults)

With delicious made-to-order items like French toast and omelets,
freshly prepared dishes available, too,
If I were planning a family trip here,
I'd definitely look at the prices that include breakfast.

8. Our Family Trip Experience with the Kids

My feeling that this place is great for traveling with a baby isn't just because of the pool.
Children aged 5 and under can stay free of charge if they share existing beds.
You can also request amenities like baby cribs, bed guards, diaper pails,
toddler toilet seats, and bottle sterilization sets,
and other items designed for use with children.

So, if I were heading to Okinawa for a family getaway,
rather than just staying for one night and moving on,
I'd plan for at least 2 nights, so you can truly enjoy the pools,
and leisurely savor breakfast while relaxing. Haha!
While it might not be the cheapest option,
when you factor in the fantastic rooms, incredible pools, and all the thoughtful baby amenities,
I truly believe it's a resort where every penny spent delivers exceptional satisfaction.
If I ever go back, I'm definitely booking the Oceanfront Twin room, haha!
