Are you planning a summer getaway to Danang?
Once you've booked your flights,
it's time to start looking for the perfect Danang resort!
Since there are so many options, if it's your first time visiting Danang,
you might be wondering which resort to choose.
Especially if you're traveling with kids,
you'll want to be extra thoughtful in making your choice!
So today, for those of you trying to pick the perfect Danang resort,
I'm sharing my personal review of the Hyatt Regency Danang,
along with some 💡smart booking tips and discounts!
After weighing my options among various Danang resorts,
here is a quick summary of why I ultimately chose
the Hyatt Regency Danang.
📌Why We Chose Hyatt Regency Danang
1. Massive swimming pools
2. Direct beach access
3. Great value for 5-star quality
4. Convenient location close to downtown

First of all, when you visit a resort in Danang,
the swimming pool is always the top priority, right?
So I wanted a resort with a large and beautiful pool area,
and when I did my research,
the reviews for the Hyatt Regency Danang pool were absolutely stellar!
Plus, beyond just the amazing pools,
the resort connects directly to the beach,
which means you can easily play in the ocean too.
Also, while the Hyatt Regency is a high-end 5-star resort,
it offers top-notch quality
at a very reasonable price point—
typically around ~$180 to ~$250 per night.
Lastly, more than anything, it's located
not too far from downtown Danang, which was a huge plus.
You need to go downtown to enjoy all the great restaurants, massage shops, and activities,
so easy access to the city center is super important!
Where should you book?
To book the Hyatt Regency Danang,
I compared prices across multiple booking platforms.
Currently, Trip.com and Agoda are on the cheaper side,
but depending on how many nights you stay,
the best deal was slightly different.
Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa Based on August weekdays | Trip.com | Agoda |
2 Twin Beds (1 Night) | ~$203 | ~$187 |
2 Twin Beds (3 Nights) | ~$602 | ~$584 |
Right now, Agoda is offering much better rates,
so I highly recommend booking through Agoda!
Now, let's dive into
my honest review of staying at the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort.

📍Hyatt Regency Check-in/Check-out times
are as follows:
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
We arrived right on time to check in,
and the English-speaking staff
welcomed us with incredibly warm and friendly service.

Also, the staff delivered our luggage
directly to our room, which made everything so convenient.
Moments like this make me so glad
we booked a 5-star hotel!

The room we booked was a King Bed (Garden View),
and we were assigned to Room F039.

The moment we walked in, beautiful sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows,
making the room look absolutely gorgeous.
The crisp white and warm wood tones blended
so beautifully with the rattan accents.

The King Bed Room comes with a cozy sofa, a table, a plush king bed, and more.
Plus, if you open those big floor-to-ceiling windows and step outside,
you can enjoy your own private ground-floor terrace!
When it comes to hotels, I'm super picky about
how fluffy and comfortable the bed is.
And let me tell you, the bed at the Hyatt Regency was so incredibly cozy
that I drifted straight off to sleep every night!

The layout connecting the bedroom to the bathroom and bathtub
was quite open, which felt really unique and spacious.

The bathroom had separate areas for the vanity, bathtub, and toilet,
which made sharing the space super convenient.
Plus, the vanity area was incredibly wide and clean.

There was also a huge full-length mirror inside,
perfect for checking your daily OOTD!

The shower booth is located right next to the bathtub,
so you have everything you need in one spot.

The tub was quite roomy, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring,
and the shower area was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash,
and soap.

As for bathroom amenities, they provide towels of various sizes,
soap, a hairdryer, a comb, toothbrushes,
and lotion.
(Note: Cleansing foam isn't included, so
be sure to pack your own from home!)

Near the room entrance, you'll find two bottles of water, tea bags, cups,
an electric kettle, a wine opener, and more.

There's also a dedicated closet nook in the corner,
which was perfect for tucking our suitcases out of the way.
It comes fully equipped with a safe, an iron, an umbrella, bathrobes, and hangers,
so keep that in mind!

Inside the drawers, you'll find an iron, slippers, laundry bags,
brushes, and more.

Lastly, if you open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and step out onto the first-floor terrace,
there's a cozy sofa, table, and chairs
perfect for sitting back and soaking in the beautiful outdoor views.
Overall, as expected of a 5-star luxury resort,
the room quality was absolutely top-notch and left me so satisfied!
Next up, let me introduce the fantastic amenities and facilities
at the Hyatt Regency Danang.
Pool & Beach

First, here is the swimming pool, which I was most excited about!
The Hyatt Regency pool is designed beautifully, stretching out long and wide
before opening up into a massive main pool area.
I loved that there was plenty of space to grab
one of the resort’s complimentary tubes and just float around lazily.

If you're staying at the resort with kids, the absolute highlight
has to be the awesome water slide!
It's a slide for younger children with height limits,
and the kids were having the absolute time of their lives on it.
Honestly, even as adults, we were so tempted to try it!
If you're traveling here with kids,
it's guaranteed to be a massive hit.

Plus, beyond the pools, if you head down to the shoreline,
it connects directly to the beach,
so you can easily go for an ocean swim!

Even if you don't swim, just lying on a sunbed or hammock
and staring out at the ocean is the ultimate way
to enjoy some deeply healing, relaxing time.
Kids Zone

Next up, besides the pool slide mentioned above,
let me introduce some other fantastic facilities
that kids will absolutely love at the resort.
First, there is a toddler pool that connects
directly to the wide main pool we looked at earlier.
The toddler pool area features a sandy beach setup
with free-to-use beach toys, making it the perfect spot
for building sandcastles and playing in the sand.

Tucked away on the side of the resort rather than the main pool area,
there is another dedicated Kids' Pool.
This kids' pool features fun inflatable play structures,
and the little ones were having the absolute best time playing there!

On top of that, there's a kids' club called Camp Hyatt,
and even a Camp Hyatt playground (Fire Zone) complete with a mini zipline, so
Hyatt Regency is truly a fantastic resort
to enjoy with kids!
Fitness Center
Next up, let me show you the fitness facilities!

When you're staying at a resort for a relaxing getaway,
having a great fitness center is so important, right?
Especially if you're someone who works out daily, this is a must-visit spot!
The Hyatt Regency fitness center was
much more spacious than I expected and packed with almost every piece of equipment you'd need.

From targeted machines for legs and arms
to treadmills, stationary bikes, and free weights—
there was a great variety of options to choose from.
Plus, the facility itself was super clean, bright, and airy, which made working out so much more enjoyable!
I squeezed in some workouts here both morning and night,
and because of how spacious it is, it never felt crowded even when multiple people were using it.

If you are trying to decide on the perfect resort in Da Nang,
you definitely won't regret booking the
Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort and Spa.
Not only is the room quality top-notch,
but you'll also be incredibly satisfied with all the amenities and facilities.
In particular, the pool was just as huge and refreshing
as I had hoped,
and they even provide complimentary tubes
which we got so much use out of!
Personally, if you are planning to visit
a Da Nang resort with kids,
the kids' zones and activities here are so well-designed
that you can book your stay here without a second thought!
💡 For your booking, I highly recommend using the price comparison
and discount coupons I shared earlier
to score the best possible deal!
