During our incredible trip to Hvar, Croatia, we stumbled upon this absolute gem while searching for a spot to enjoy a light brunch and a fantastic cup of coffee.
Its quaint and beautiful terrace space immediately caught our eye from a distance, drawing us in without a second thought.
You might be surprised to find that Hvar Island boasts quite a few cafes offering excellent pour-over coffee, and Cafe Snob certainly exceeded our expectations with its outstanding specialty coffee!

Nestled in a charming alleyway in the heart of Hvar Town, Cafe Snob is perfectly situated for a leisurely stroll after dining at one of the nearby restaurants.
For our stay, we booked an Airbnb perfectly positioned between the east and west beaches, allowing us to walk to both.
The views were spectacular, it had cooking facilities, and our host was incredibly friendly and helpful – I highly recommend it!

The menu features a diverse selection, including specialty pour-over (filter) coffee, espresso, Americano, lattes, and more.
I honestly didn't have high expectations for coffee when I first arrived in Croatia, but Hvar seems to be a hub for cafes offering delightful, acidic coffee. Cafe Snob is definitely one of them, delivering a memorable coffee experience.
Exterior
The exterior is truly charming, blending seamlessly with Croatia's characteristic stone walls.
With warm sunlight bathing the alleyway, the beautifully decorated terrace seating effortlessly draws in passersby.
Interior
Given the inviting and atmospheric terrace seating, we naturally chose a spot outside.
The cafe was a bit busier than we expected inside, clearly a popular spot in Hvar!
What We Ordered
We opted for a decaf pour-over (filter) coffee and a refreshing iced Americano.
After our meal, a fragrant pour-over coffee was the perfect palate cleanser. Its clean and bright notes left a wonderfully refreshing taste.
I also ordered a latte, and for brunch, we tried a sandwich and a croissant. They were surprisingly delicious and made for a perfect light meal!
Sitting on the terrace, feeling the gentle breeze and slowly savoring a cup of coffee – it's a small luxury easily missed when you're busy traveling. But taking these moments of relaxation truly makes a difference!
