Serenity Alpha Hurghada: All-Inclusive Red Sea Escape

While exploring historical sites like pyramids and temples was fantastic during my trip to Egypt, did you know Egypt also boasts world-class resorts?

Towards the end of my trip, I visited the Red Sea resort town of Hurghada, and among the many options, I chose to stay all-inclusive at Serenity Alpha Resort, which features a private beach and multiple swimming pools.

Even though it's a 5-star resort, the price for a night was in the early ~$219 range, including all meals and drinks, and the Red Sea right in front of the resort was even more beautiful than I could have imagined!

Since the Hurghada resort was going to be the grand finale of our trip, I put a lot of effort into choosing the perfect one.

First, I filtered for 5-star all-inclusive resorts based on accommodation prices, then I narrowed down the options that met all our desired criteria.

As we were planning a relaxing getaway, the number and size of the swimming pools were crucial. Among several candidates, Serenity Alpha stood out because it boasts various sizes of pools, including a heated pool during winter, which I loved.

The fact that it's a beachfront resort, with a private beach accessible on foot, also perfectly met our requirements.

As we planned to have all our meals at the resort, dining quality was incredibly important, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

In reality, we enjoyed delicious meals every single day, and the grilled dishes served outdoors were so good, they made me squint in pure delight!

What also greatly influenced my choice was Serenity Alpha Resort's distinctly exotic exterior.

Since Egypt was our destination, I didn't want an overly modern interior.

2. Swimming Pools

Serenity Alpha Resort boasts a total of 5 swimming pools, including 3 large main pools.

Even during winter when we visited, all pools were operational, but only the largest main pool was heated.

At first, I thought having only one heated pool might be a bit disappointing, but once we got there, I realized that the main pool alone was much larger than most hotel swimming pools.

The depth was substantial enough, making it perfect for proper swimming rather than just splashing around, and the water quality was excellent.

It was especially wonderful for warming up after a refreshing swim in the Red Sea at the private beach right in front of the resort.

If you love swimming, this resort is so satisfying that you could spend your entire time just alternating between the beach and the pools.

At night, the beautiful lights illuminated the area, and we enjoyed nightly strolls, chatting about this and that – the scenery made our conversations even more delightful.

3. Private Beach

One of the biggest reasons I was drawn to Serenity Alpha Resort was the sheer number of Agoda reviews raving about its beautiful private beach.

The beach itself was incredibly spacious, and with plenty of sunbeds, we could use them with ease.

When we actually went, the water was so incredibly clear and transparent, and despite the weather, the sea temperature wasn't that cold.

Hurghada, located on the Red Sea, is a famous resort town known for its corals and tropical fish. From the deck in the middle of the beach, you can directly access deeper waters.

I loved that you could walk straight from the resort into this kind of sea.

We also went scuba diving during our trip, paying extra, but honestly, in terms of coral reef scenery alone, the sea right in front of the resort was even more impressive.

Especially, just a short distance from the beach, there was an area where the corals continued downwards like a cliff. When you looked down into the water, you could see deep blue hues and corals all at once, which was incredibly beautiful.

Even watching the videos again, I wonder, where else could I find such a blue, clean, colorful, and beautiful sea?

If you love snorkeling, you definitely won't regret visiting Hurghada Serenity Alpha Resort!!

I had seen reviews saying the beach was beautiful, but I never imagined it would be this stunning, so my satisfaction was even greater.

4. Price

We booked a Superior Room + All-Inclusive package, and it was in the low ~$219 per night.

Considering it's a 5-star resort and the price includes not just the room but also three meals, drinks, and snacks, I felt it was good value for money.

If you look up prices for a similar period, they are around ~$219, but there's quite a price difference between sites.

Among several accommodation sites, Agoda is overwhelmingly the cheapest.

Prices for Hurghada resorts vary greatly depending on the dates and room conditions, so it's best to compare accommodation fees across several sites after deciding on your desired room and dates.

What you definitely need to check when booking is the meal option.

At first glance, you might choose Full Board, but if you want to comfortably enjoy drinks and snacks within the resort, you should opt for All-Inclusive.
