An amazing value night for a 2-day, 1-night trip to Gunsan
When planning a family trip to Gunsan with both kids and dogs,
the biggest concern is always finding pet-friendly accommodation.
When traveling with a dog, clean rooms and nearby walking paths are essential.
Our recent stay at Gunsan Hotel Noun was perfect because it's right near
Eunpa Lake Park, one of Gunsan's top scenic spots.
It's truly the ultimate spot for pet parents!
Here is my review of our 2-day, 1-night stay at Hotel Noun.
If you're visiting Gunsan with a dog, I highly recommend this budget-friendly hotel.
Finding pet-friendly places in Gunsan was honestly so tough ㅠㅠ
Gunsan Hotel Noun could only be booked on Agoda and Yeogi Eottae (Good Choice),
and Agoda was so much cheaper!
I've put a price comparison for both standard rooms and pet rooms below ▼▼▼

Location & Parking Info

Address: 84 Hyeonchung-ro, Gunsan-si, Jeonbuk, Hotel Noun
Parking: There is dedicated parking space at both the front and side of the hotel building.
The spaces are quite wide, so even SUVs and larger vehicles can park without any hassle,
making the start of our trip super convenient.
The best parts about Hotel Noun are its pet-friendliness and prime location.
You can easily walk to Eunpa Lake Park, one of Gunsan's top scenic relaxation spots,
and it's very close to downtown Naun-dong, which is packed with great restaurants.
Popular attractions like Gyeongam-dong Railroad Village and the Modern History District
are only about a 10 to 15-minute drive away,
making it incredibly convenient to plan your Gunsan itinerary.
Hours & Pet Etiquette

Since it's a pet-friendly hotel, keeping everyone's stay comfortable relies on following the rules.
Only specific rooms are designated as pet-friendly, so make sure to check before booking!
And just to be safe, I recommend calling ahead to confirm
your dog's weight and breed before finalizing your reservation.
Our dog is a 10kg (22 lbs) medium-sized Jindo mix.
Pet Etiquette: In common areas like the lobby and elevators,
you must use a pet carrier or hold your dog in your arms.
This is because we share the space with guests who don't have dogs,
and you'll need to ride the elevator to move around!

1st Floor: Front Desk, Self-Bar (Breakfast)
Pet-Friendly Rooms: Dog amenities provided, with part of the proceeds donated to the Hwarang Kindergarten Dog Adoption & Healing Center
Smoking Area: Left side under the main entrance stairs / Near the back door at the end of the 1st-floor walkway
Hours: Check-in 4:00 PM / Check-out 12:00 PM

They don't just cater to pets—there are also plenty of amenities
provided for human guests as well.
From umbrellas to hair ties and cotton swabs—
Hotel Noun is exceptionally thoughtful.

Pet-Friendly Rooms (Medium Dogs Allowed)

Hotel Noun is one of the rare places in Gunsan that offers dedicated pet-friendly rooms.
Just like other reviews mentioned, despite being a room shared with pets,
it is kept incredibly clean without any of that typical pet smell.
Since I was traveling with both my dog and child, I was super impressed by the cleanliness!

I loved that they provided plenty of bottled water for our one-night stay.
And even if you run out, you can always grab more water from the self-bar on the 1st floor.

At Gunsan Hotel Noun, they provide special pet amenities for guests traveling with their furry friends.
(Large towel, pee pads, wet wipes, and poop bags)

Plus, the pet-friendly rooms come equipped with
essential dog supplies!
(Food bowl, water bowl, dog house, pet cushion, and bed stairs)
If you're planning a quick 2-day, 1-night trip to Gunsan like my family did,
this hotel is absolutely perfect because you won't need to pack a single extra thing!
Self-Bar

One of the best perks of Hotel Noun Gunsan is the self-bar located right in front of the lobby.
For breakfast, they offer a clean and simple setup of toast, eggs, coffee, juice, and more.
In addition to a microwave, coffee machine, ice maker, hot water dispenser, and freezer,
they even have a Styler (steam closet), which was such a pleasant surprise! haha
It's incredibly useful if you're traveling on a rainy day or if your family just had a BBQ dinner.

There are separate tables and chairs available too.
After going for an early morning stroll around Eunpa Lake Park,
it's the perfect spot to enjoy a light breakfast.
This service from Gunsan Hotel Noun really shows their thoughtful care,
making sure travelers start their day right.

They also offer a laundry service, though there is a fee for it.
Laundry and drying (including detergent): ~$3 per load
Keep in mind that there are specific hours for laundry drop-off!
Special Services for Your Pup

The reason Hotel Noun is so loved by pet owners
is because of the incredibly practical services they provide for dogs.
Not only do they provide dog essentials like pee pads at check-in,
but there's also a small outdoor play area just for dogs!
If you don't have time for a full walk before or after check-in,
it's great to let them run around for a bit
in this cute little dog park provided by the hotel.
It's not huge, but it's definitely spacious enough for some quick fun.

And check this out—there's a dedicated pet photo zone right in front of the 1st-floor lobby!
With cute dog clothes and props available,
it really hit home how incredibly welcoming this place is for pets.
The price is so much more affordable than other places,
yet they offer so many great services and welcome dogs with open arms.
I was truly grateful to the hotel owner!
Highly recommended for:
