When planning our trip to Yeosu, I really wanted to choose an accommodation where we could fully enjoy a spectacular ocean view.

So, following our stay at Yeosu Bellemer Hotel, the place we chose this time is Hotel JCS Yeosu, located on Dolsando Island.

With ocean views from every single room, a sprawling outdoor pool, and fantastic amenities like a kids' room, golf zone, and game center, it's the perfect spot for anyone seeking a Yeosu ocean view hotel or a family staycation.

✔️ Full ocean view

Rooms

The room we stayed in was a Deluxe King Room.

The ocean view that unfolds the moment you step into the room is simply breathtaking.

The most memorable moment at Hotel JCS Yeosu was definitely when we first opened the room door. After checking in and inserting the key card, the closed curtains automatically opened, revealing the entire sea through the panoramic window.

We knew this scene was famous and planned to capture it on video, but as soon as we entered, we both just kept exclaiming "Wow!" and missed our chance to film. 😅 We even tried going out and coming back in, but the curtains didn't open like they did the first time, haha.

Plus, the room was genuinely spacious (45m2). With its expansive ocean view, generous room size, and high ceilings, it felt incredibly refreshing and open.

There was more than enough space for two people, and with the ocean visible even from the bed, we truly felt like we were on a Yeosu vacation without even needing to step outside.

Price & Booking Tips

When I re-searched for prices based on a stay in early August, during peak season, the Deluxe King Room prices were as follows:

Currently, Agoda offers the lowest price, while Trip.com is about ~$16 more expensive. When I made my reservation, the price difference between Trip.com and Agoda wasn't this significant, so Agoda's current price is quite a steal!

If price is more important than a specific room type, you might consider options where the room is assigned randomly upon check-in.

This option doesn't appear on Trip.com right now, but it is available on Agoda. In that case, the Deluxe King Room price drops to ~$101.

However, you won't be able to choose your bed type or room location. So, if you want to save about ~$14, go for the random room assignment. But if you prefer to guarantee your desired room type, it's better to book it specifically. 😊

When I booked the hotel, the place I was even more excited about than the room was the Cielo Pool on B1!

It boasts an infinity pool that seems to blend seamlessly with the ocean, along with an adult pool, a kids' pool, and a jacuzzi. 🏊‍♀️

When I got there, I saw so many families with tubes and water play gear, ready to hit the pool right from check-in!

(It gets super crowded right at check-in time~~~ So, go early, grab a waiting number, and head straight to the pool!! Haha)

The pool is actually wider than I expected and thoughtfully divided into zones, making it perfect not only for families with kids but also for couples looking to relax and enjoy some leisurely time by the water.

Plus, the price includes sunbeds, lockers, and life vests, so if you can snag a spot, you can totally chill out on a sunbed.

Every time we visit Yeosu, we're amazed by how much hotter it is compared to Seoul, being so far south!

That's why we mostly spent our afternoons enjoying the hotel pool!

Near the pool entrance, there's also a food court and a cafe where you can grab things like chicken and beer, so you can order and enjoy them right by the pool! (No outside food allowed, though.)

💡 Here's a Pro-Tip!

For a 2-day pass, adults can use it for ~$28 and children for ~$14.

The additional cost for a 2-day pass isn't much more than a single day, so if you're planning a 'hocance' (hotel vacation) centered around the pool, a 2-day pass seems like a great option!

If you're on a family trip with kids, the facilities are so well-organized that even just using the room and the pool can make a whole day fly by!

What's more, there's a dedicated kids' room where children can play in a ball pit or enjoy sand play, making it another fantastic spot to spend time.

It really made me think of my nieces and nephews back in Seoul!

Beyond that, on the 3rd floor, you'll find a fitness center for some light workouts, along with a golf zone. What's really great is that hotel guests get discounts on the golf zone usage fees and golf club rentals – because, let's be honest, lugging golf clubs around while traveling with kids can be a bit of a hassle!

Hotel JCS Yeosu definitely stands out with its full ocean views from the rooms and its expansive outdoor swimming pool.

I especially recommend it for families who prefer to enjoy water activities and relaxation at the hotel rather than rushing through tourist spots! 🌊
