Hotel Inter-Burgo Daegu Staycation Guide
5-Star Riverside Luxury, Epic Buffet, and Kids' Pool

Hey there, fellow travelers!
I recently took a family trip to Daegu with my brother, sister-in-law, and my energetic 5-year-old nephew. Traveling with a multigenerational group means finding a hotel that keeps everyone happy—from toddlers to adults.
We ended up booking a night at Hotel Inter-Burgo Daegu. Known as one of Korea's most budget-friendly 5-star properties, it boasts a top-tier breakfast buffet and a fantastic four-season kids' pool.
With its pristine facilities, spacious rooms, and scenic river views, it turned out to be the ultimate Daegu staycation spot. Let me walk you through our experience, including the rooms, pool, and that famous breakfast buffet!

When booking, make sure you choose the right location, as there are two Inter-Burgo hotels in Daegu!

The main Hotel Inter-Burgo Daegu is a resort-style property nestled right along the scenic Geumho River. It offers a peaceful, vacation-like atmosphere with beautiful walking paths and kid-friendly pools—perfect for families and staycationers.
On the other hand, Hotel Inter-Burgo Exco is located in the city center, catering primarily to business travelers, convention attendees, and concertgoers.
Since we wanted a relaxing escape surrounded by nature, we booked the riverside Hotel Inter-Burgo Daegu.

For our group (3 adults and 1 child), we booked two Park Standard Twin rooms with breakfast included.
Even during the peak summer season, room-only rates hover around ~$96 per night on weekdays, making this an incredibly high-value 5-star option.

The location is pretty convenient, too. You are within a 10-minute drive (about 3 miles) of local favorites like the Ayang Railroad, Dongchon Amusement Park, the National Daegu Museum, and Suseong Lake. Downtown Dongseong-ro is just a 20-minute drive away.

The property is split into the Main Building and the Park Village wing.

The Main Building offers stunning Geumho River views and houses the front desk, the main buffet restaurant, the indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center.

We stayed in the Park Village wing, which is often priced more affordably. It is connected internally to the Main Building, so walking between the two was smooth and convenient.

We were assigned side-by-side Park Standard Twin rooms.

At around 270 sq ft, the room featured two comfortable single beds. The interior had a modern aesthetic with warm wood accents, creating a cozy and inviting vibe. The view of the green park outside was incredibly relaxing.
True to its 5-star rating, the bedding was plush and immaculate. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping outside was pure bliss.
There was a flat-screen TV in front of the beds, a sleek desk perfect for working or getting ready, and a small round table where we enjoyed some morning tea.

Near the entrance, the open-concept closet was stocked with thick, fluffy bathrobes and disposable slippers.
The coffee station featured an espresso machine, electric kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, a wine opener, and mugs. In the mini-fridge below, we found two complimentary bottles of water.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The hotel uses lighting beautifully, and even the vanity mirror featured gorgeous accent lighting.
A powerful hair dryer and plenty of plush towels were provided. Large, eco-friendly dispensers held the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.
We brought our own toothbrushes and toothpaste (standard practice in Korea now), but they supplied combs, shower caps, and cotton pads.
For a budget-friendly 5-star hotel, the room quality far exceeded my expectations.

Since this is one of Daegu's premier pool hotels, we made sure to reserve a slot at the four-season pool.
