And of all the coastal spots, Gwangalli is an absolute must!
For my latest trip to Busan, I spent days worrying about where to stay because I didn't want to miss the iconic Gwangalli Drone Show and the late-night ocean view vibes.
Hotels right on the beach are incredibly overpriced,
while the cheaper options are too far from the action...
After endless searching for the perfect middle ground,
I found 'H Avenue Gwangalli Beach'.
Here is my honest, fully self-funded review.
To sum it up:
If you plan on hanging out at Gwangalli until late at night,
there is simply no better option for location and value.

When looking for a place to stay in Gwangalli,

Honestly, most beachfront hotels in Gwangalli are quite pricey.
But this place offers incredible value for its prime location.
After the drone show ended,
slipping back into the hotel in just 1 minute
made me realize how perfect this location is! haha.
I wanted to experience the lively atmosphere, so I watched from the beach,
but if you want to watch the Gwangalli Drone Show in ultimate comfort,
you can view it directly from the hotel's 9th-floor lounge! :)

enjoy the ocean views from the lounge!
Since we didn't plan on spending much time inside the room,
we booked the basic Standard City Room.
We debated getting an ocean-view room,
but this turned out to be a super smart choice!
My first impression of the City Room at H Avenue Hotel
was, "Wow, this is incredibly clean!"
The wallpaper and flooring looked recently renovated,
and the bedding was crisp and fresh, ensuring a great night's sleep.
Even my husband, who is usually very picky about hotel beds,
was super impressed, haha.

Smart TV (Netflix enabled)
Bathroom:
The green accent tiles were beautiful,
and seeing the mirror completely free of water spots
made me realize how well-maintained this property is.

and enjoy the panoramic Gwangalli beach views from the hotel lounge as much as you want!

The absolute best feature of H Avenue Hotel Gwangalli Beach
is their stunning Ocean View Lounge.
While the City Room was great,
honestly, the 9th-floor lounge is the real highlight.
With the Gwangan Bridge night view laid out right in front of you,
this lounge is the ultimate viewing spot.
It offers a perfect, unobstructed view of the Drone Show!
(Usually Saturdays at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM)
Before heading up to the hotel,
we grabbed some beers and snacks from the convenience store downstairs.
Since the beach is literally right outside,
even our ice cream didn't melt on the way up, haha.
Sipping cold beers in the lounge while looking at the illuminated Gwangan Bridge
was absolute bliss. Happiness is simple!
