Hong Kong Disneyland DPA Review 2026: Is Premier Access Worth It?
Considering Premier Access for Hong Kong Disneyland? Our 2026 review covers the 8-attraction DPA pass, revealing which rides are worth skipping the lines for maximum fun!
You might think Hong Kong Disneyland is on the smaller side, leading you to wonder, "How bad can the lines really be?" But trust me, once you're inside, simply standing in line can be far more draining than the actual waiting time.
The real difference between using Premier Access (often called DPA) and not isn't just riding a few extra attractions. It's about whether your day ends feeling like a magical vacation or a total energy drain. With DPA, you're guaranteed to make the most of your visit!

So, why did I choose the 8-attraction DPA? I'm excited to share my firsthand experience and insights, helping you decide if it's the right choice for your next Hong Kong Disneyland adventure!
Considering Hong Kong Disney DPA? Here's Who Should Absolutely Go For It

If you're planning a single-day visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, dislike spending ages in queues, and want to ensure you experience all the must-do attractions, then the Premier Access pass will undoubtedly boost your satisfaction.
Especially for couples or friends traveling together, where you only need to purchase passes for yourselves, the cost of the 8-attraction pass feels incredibly reasonable. In such cases, the 8-attraction DPA is definitely the most convenient choice.
Let's break down the 8 attractions included in the Hong Kong Disneyland DPA.
The 8-attraction Premier Access pass I used includes the following rides, each available for one-time use:
Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars,
Mystic Manor,
Hyperspace Mountain,
Iron Man Experience,
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle,
"it's a small world,"
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,
Mickey's PhilharMagic
Now, let's dive into which of these attractions truly felt worth using Premier Access for.

One of the biggest reasons I wholeheartedly recommend the Hong Kong Disney DPA is this: Frozen Ever After is included in the 8-attraction DPA!
This is one of Hong Kong Disneyland's most popular attractions, so being able to ride it without any wait using the DPA was incredibly convenient and made the experience so much more enjoyable.

Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars was easily one of the most satisfying roller coasters I've ever experienced. With unexpected twists and fantastic speed, being able to hop right on without a long wait thanks to DPA felt like an absolute stroke of genius!

The Iron Man Experience, with its immersive 4D technology, truly pulls you into the action. Since the lines for this ride can get quite long, leading to significant fatigue, having Premier Access made the experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Mystic Manor focuses more on its captivating storytelling and elaborate visuals than speed, making it a hit for family trips, even with young children. Considering the internal queues, being able to enter immediately with the pass significantly enhanced the experience.

Hyperspace Mountain is an indoor roller coaster, which means the perceived fear factor is lower, but the fun factor is definitely high! It's a great choice even for first-time roller coaster riders.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle, with its interactive shooting game element, was an attraction that everyone, regardless of age or gender, thoroughly enjoyed.
The score display definitely sparked a competitive spirit! If you're aiming for a high score, I recommend trying to get a seat with a blue blaster (the blue blasters emit green lasers, which seem to register points more effectively).
Now, for the attractions I probably wouldn't have bothered with if I didn't have Premier Access:

"it's a small world" is a classic Disney experience that's enjoyable for a one-time ride, but if the queue is exceptionally long, I'd say it's skippable. However, it's a perfectly relaxing attraction to enjoy, so having DPA made it easy to hop on without any hesitation.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was a pleasant trip down memory lane, but as an adult, it wasn't a top-priority ride. Still, thanks to Premier Access, I could ride it quickly and effortlessly, which made it a nice bonus rather than a chore.
Additionally, Mickey's PhilharMagic is a fantastic musical viewing experience. The combination of wonderful songs and classic animated shorts is incredibly entertaining, and enjoying it without any wait made it even better.
So, do I recommend the Hong Kong Disney DPA?
Premier Access isn't a "must-buy no matter what" kind of ticket. Instead, it's a pass whose value significantly increases the more packed your itinerary is.
I've included the purchase link for the admission tickets and Premier Access pass that I personally used below. (Klook generally offers the best prices for Hong Kong attractions!)
