It was my first time exploring Ho Chi Minh City, and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations! This vibrant city is packed with incredible sights and mouth-watering food, making it an absolutely fantastic travel destination.

📌 The Price Tag?

For a group of three, we stayed for around ~$88 per night. This Airbnb apartment offered:

This is an honest review of my personal, paid stay.

Location

📍Vinhomes Central Park – Park 5

Park 5, Trần Trọng Kim, Vinhomes Tân Cảng, Bình Thạnh, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

One of the biggest perks of this location is being just a minute's walk from Landmark 81! This means you have easy access to WinMart (a Vincom supermarket), Haidilao, and practically anything else you could need.

It's incredibly convenient.

Ho Chi Minh Transportation?

When it comes to getting around Ho Chi Minh City, we mostly relied on taxis. The Landmark 5 area is perfectly situated – close enough to the city center for easy access, but far enough to offer a peaceful retreat.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 12 PM. We were informed that it's possible to drop off luggage before check-in, which is a great option for early arrivals.

Unfortunately, due to a flight delay (Vietjet, I wouldn't recommend them!), we couldn't take advantage of the early luggage drop-off. But it's good to know for future reference!

Exterior & Lobby

Here's a look at the lobby. You need a key card to access both the lobby area and the elevators, and there's also security personnel at the front. This gave us a strong sense of safety and good security measures.

Upon arrival, a friendly staff member came down to greet us and provided a quick orientation before heading off.

Interior

Our apartment was located on a comfortable upper floor. I've heard that many apartments in Ho Chi Minh City tend to have smaller living rooms and larger bedrooms, but this unit felt well-proportioned. The living room and kitchen were seamlessly connected, featuring a dining table large enough for four, which was perfect for us.

And let me tell you, the air conditioning was absolutely fantastic – a real lifesaver in the Ho Chi Minh heat!

Kitchen

The kitchen was well-equipped for basic cooking, and it featured a really spacious refrigerator. While we didn't do much cooking ourselves (dining out in Vietnam is so affordable and delicious!), we made excellent use of the fridge for storing all the wonderful fresh fruits we bought daily.

Bedrooms

With two separate bedrooms, the apartment comfortably accommodated our group of three, ensuring everyone had their own space to relax.

Bathrooms

Having two bathrooms was incredibly convenient for our group. A little tip: you might want to consider bringing a shower filter, as the water quality in some areas of Vietnam isn't quite as pristine as what you might be used to at home.

📌 Food Delivery?

We decided to order some delicious Banh Mi from a famous spot in Ho Chi Minh City.

They say there's often a long queue if you visit in person, but ordering delivery in the morning was incredibly convenient. A perfect way to start the day!
