LOST&SOUGHT Cafe Thao Dien Review 2026: Ho Chi Minh's Best Latte?
Discover LOST&SOUGHT Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City's Thao Dien, a hidden gem offering incredible lattes and fresh-baked bread. Perfect for a cozy coffee break!

Wow, it's been a while since I've written about a cafe in Ho Chi Minh City's Thao Dien area! I'm writing this literally as I'm savoring one of the most delicious lattes I've had in ages. I was instantly smitten by the creamy, dense milk foam and the rich, nutty espresso. And since it's a bakery cafe, they bake their own bread fresh daily – I've heard rave reviews!

LOST&SOUGHT Cafe is located near The Deck Saigon, which means it's also close to An Phu Station. It's a bit of a walk from Masteri Thao Dien, and I definitely worked up a sweat getting here! But just follow this adorable sign, and you'll find it tucked away in a charming alley.

They sell a variety of freshly baked goods here. Prices for most items hover around 60,000 VND (approximately ~$2 and up). Since this is my first visit, I only tried a latte today, but I'm planning to bring my friend Yongbam back this weekend for a full bread and coffee brunch!

LOST&SOUGHT Cafe Coffee Menu
While there are "must-try" options, as a die-hard latte fan, I naturally went for the latte again today!

Speaking of Ho Chi Minh, there's a new delivery app gaining popularity besides Grab. It's called Capichi, created by a Japanese team. They offer a 30% discount on your first order, plus free delivery!

The cafe has a spacious outdoor terrace area, but with the recent haze and air quality concerns in Ho Chi Minh City, I opted for the cozy indoor bar. It's a small space, seating about five people, but it's perfectly air-conditioned and wonderfully cool.
The interior is small but charming, and the air conditioning blasts out, making it perfectly cool and refreshing.

Enjoying my coffee while admiring the delicious-looking bread.

This was hands down the best latte I've had among all the cafes in Thao Dien. It wasn't watered down, the beans were aromatic and nutty, the milk ratio was perfect, and the foam was incredibly creamy.
Often, when I order a latte at Vietnamese cafes (not Korean-owned ones), the milk flavor tends to overpower the coffee, but not here!

It seems they have a dedicated barista and baker. I believe the barista is a man, and the baker is a woman. According to Google reviews, the male barista speaks excellent English and is happy to customize your coffee order!

They also sell sourdough bread and single-origin coffee beans for you to take home.

I loved that they served coffee in ceramic mugs, which I spotted on the coffee machine.

The cafe closes at 7 PM, so around 6 PM, as customers started leaving, I took the opportunity to quietly capture the LOST&SOUGHT coffee bar. The music was soft and mellow pop, making it a perfect spot to bring a laptop and get some work done.

Haha, I noticed some awards and trophies on top of the speaker and naturally assumed they were related to coffee or baking. I even used Gemini to check the photos! It turns out only the paper certificate was for a French baking masterclass. The other two were a second-place trophy from the 2026 Ho Chi Minh Triathlon and a Lego block commemorating a finish at the Da Lat Ultra Trail! Wow... it's run by a true athlete! So cool! I'd love to run a trail in Da Lat too!!!!
