Ho Chi Minh Airport Rose Lounge Review 2026: Priority Pass Access
Don't dread airport waits! I tried the Ho Chi Minh Airport Rose Lounge. Learn how to use Priority Pass or The Lounge App for a relaxing start to your journey.
Hello everyone!
I'm Soosookkotdari, your travel blogger 🌸
You know how boring it can be waiting at the airport
on the last day of your Ho Chi Minh trip,
especially if you have a red-eye flight?
Well, that's why this time, I decided to check out
the Rose Lounge at Ho Chi Minh Airport.
It was super easy to use with The Lounge app.
I'm here to give you my honest review!

9 PM: Arriving at Ho Chi Minh Airport

It was the last day of my Ho Chi Minh trip.
My flight was around midnight, and it took about
20 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel
by Grab. The fare was around 120,000 VND.
I really liked how close Ho Chi Minh Airport
is to the city center!
After arriving at the airport, I went through the
departure procedures. It was quite a hassle, though ㅠㅠ
Finding the Rose Lounge
After clearing immigration and passing through
duty-free, I walked towards the gates. Ho Chi Minh Airport
felt smaller than I expected. It felt less than a third
the size of Incheon or Gimpo Airports!
📍Ho Chi Minh Airport Lounge Types
✅️ Rose Lounge: Near Gates 8-9
✅️ Jasmine Lounge: Near Gate 17 (Halal Lounge)
✅️ Lotus Lounge: Exclusively for Vietnam Airlines

Since I didn't particularly need to go to a Halal-only lounge,
I headed to the Rose Lounge. It was super convenient
since my departure gate was Gate 8!
As I walked towards Gate 8, I saw
"Rose Lounge" clearly marked, so it was easy to find.
📍Rose Lounge Key Information
✔️ Location: Near Gates 8-9
✔️ Operating Hours: 24 hours
✔️ Maximum Stay: 3 hours
✔️ How to Access: The Lounge App, On-site Payment
Entering with The Lounge App

I got free access through The Lounge app thanks to my
credit card benefits. I had already downloaded the app beforehand.
📍How to Use The Lounge App
1. Download The Lounge App
2. Register your card (e.g., Hyundai Card, Shinhan Card)
3. Select the lounge in the app upon arrival at the airport
4. Get your QR code issued
5. Present the QR code at the lounge entrance
While lounge access varies by card, the card I use allows
access to lounges worldwide.

Once you issue a worldwide lounge pass
in the app, a QR code is generated.
Upon arriving at the lounge entrance, just show the staff
your QR code and boarding pass, and you're in! So convenient! ~~
First Impressions of the Rose Lounge Interior

The lounge is located downstairs from the entrance, and from
above, it looked quite spacious, making me think I'd be able
to relax comfortably...

But once I actually went inside, it was so crowded I couldn't
find a place to sit. I had no choice but to sit at a bar-style
table near the entrance, where several people could sit.
The good thing was being close to the food; the downside
was the uncomfortable chairs~
Rose Lounge Food Selection

What was the very first thing I did after finding a spot?
Exploring the food corner, of course! lol
The food corner had beer, sparkling water, milk,
wine, yogurt, coffee, pho, fruits, eggs, and more.

Even though I'd had a hearty hot stone pot pho for dinner
and wasn't super hungry, you just *have* to try
the lounge food, right?~

I opted for a light meal – think soothing white porridge, fresh fruit, and some delicious bread.
My friend couldn't get enough of the coconut bread, raving about how incredibly delicious it was!
She went back for seconds, and thirds, and... well, you get the idea! 😉
I also enjoyed a can of beer. They had Saigon Beer,
and also '333' (Ba Ba Ba) beer. Personally, I found Saigon Beer to have a better taste.
However, since 333 Beer isn't readily available
back home, it's definitely worth trying while you're here!
Ho Chi Minh Airport Lounge Facilities: What to Expect!

While there isn't a dedicated shower room, I freshened up in the restroom
by washing my face and changing into more comfortable clothes.
I did spot one massage chair.
Luckily, it was empty, so I happily claimed it
to melt away some of that travel fatigue.

When it was finally time to board, I headed to the gate, only to find out...
...our flight was delayed by over an hour! 😭
I quickly popped back to the Rose Lounge and asked if I could re-enter.
To my relief, they kindly said I could stay for another 30 minutes! Phew!

They said 30 minutes, but let's be real, no one was actually going to be timing me!
So, I got to relax comfortably until my boarding time.

Being able to re-enter the lounge was an absolute lifesaver.

Airport lounges are truly sanctuaries designed for travelers to relax before their flights.
Especially when you're traveling to Vietnam, where many flights are overnight,
making use of an airport lounge is pretty much a must-do!

As a major metropolis in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City's airport lounges are impressively spacious.
It's definitely a decent spot to unwind before your flight.
Thanks to the lounge, I managed to recharge my energy before boarding,
allowing me to board in much better spirits.
If I hadn't visited the lounge, I would have been stuck on those hard gate chairs for 3 hours...
Just thinking about it gives me shivers!
