District 2 Thao Dien Soft.nailart

Hey there, fellow travelers! It's your guide, Jae, back from another incredible trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
After sharing some snaps from my recent adventure, many of you asked about my nails – and I'm thrilled to spill the beans!
Whenever I visit Vietnam, a stop at a nail salon is an absolute must.
The prices for nail art in Vietnam are unbelievably affordable, making it a perfect little indulgence!
Below, I'll dive into all the details about the fantastic salon I visited this time and break down the costs.
1. Ho Chi Minh Nail Salon Soft.nailart
The Ho Chi Minh nail salon I discovered is called Soft.Nailart!
It was conveniently located not far from my hotel in Thao Dien, District 2.

This spot was relatively new when I visited, so there weren't many Google reviews yet.
However, after seeing a few photos online, I had a good feeling about their work. I decided to check out their Instagram, and sure enough, I found a design that instantly captured my heart!

While not every design was exactly my style, I was really impressed by the charming and creative options they offered!
I reached out directly via Instagram DM to book my appointment, and the staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, communicating fluently in English.
It made scheduling a breeze!
2. Nail Salon Exterior & Interior

When I arrived at the provided address, I was a little surprised to find myself in front of a **villa**!
I called the number they had given me, and the owner, a sweet and youthful woman, came out to greet me and open the door.

Inside the building, I found a door marked "Soft.Nail" leading into a cozy, single-chair nail salon – perfect for one-on-one service.

Since it had recently opened, the entire space felt remarkably clean and inviting!
They even offered me a small bottle of water, which was a nice touch as I settled in for my session.

First, they meticulously removed my old polish, then began creating the intricate design I'd chosen from their Instagram.
The artist was incredibly attentive, even asking if there were any final adjustments I wanted. I asked to move a tiny dot of a design element, and she happily adjusted it right away!
When I sent photos to my sister, she immediately raved about how beautiful they were and said she absolutely had to get her nails done there on her next trip!
3. Vietnam Nail Art Prices

Now for what you've all been waiting for: the Vietnam nail art prices!
The photo above shows their detailed price list, which is clearly broken down by service, making it super easy to understand.

For my entire nail art session that day, the total came to 310,000 VND, which is incredibly affordable – less than ~$15!
In the US, that's barely enough for a gel polish removal, let alone a full art set.

I was absolutely thrilled with the results! It's been over two weeks since I got them done, and they're still perfectly intact with no chipping or lifting – the longevity is fantastic.
Honestly, I regret not getting another set before I left!
