AN's Spa
While I already have a favorite spa in Ho Chi Minh City, as a travel blogger, I can't keep going to the same place every time! So, on my latest trip, I decided to explore a new spot.
This gem is located a little off the beaten path from where most of the main tourist attractions are, nestled in District 10. Don't worry, it's not too far – think a couple of miles from District 1, similar to the distance to the famous Pink Church.

The area itself feels quite upscale. The overall complex design and the surrounding shops have a distinctly luxurious vibe.

This is the entrance to the spa, and stepping inside, you're greeted by a serene and inviting atmosphere.

They don't have an overwhelming number of options, which I actually appreciated. The prices are a bit higher than your typical local spot, but after experiencing it, I didn't feel it was overpriced at all.
For instance, their 90-minute Signature Spa treatment is approximately ~$300, while a Shiatsu session is around ~$372. The Special Package, a full 120 minutes, comes in at about ~$40. (Prices are approximate conversions from Vietnamese Dong as of 2026).

They offer a lovely welcome tea and what tasted like homemade yogurt – sweet and delicious! Interestingly, the menu had 'Recommended' written in Japanese, which made me wonder if the owner is Japanese or if they specifically cater to Japanese clientele. Either way, the entire spa felt incredibly clean and well-maintained.
Although I initially considered just a body massage, I opted for their special package: 30 minutes of head massage, 60 minutes for the body, and 30 minutes for the feet. A perfect combination!

After changing, it was time to enter the massage room. The neatly arranged oils, creams, and tools already hinted at the premium experience awaiting me.
The session started face down, and I immediately noticed a thoughtful touch: a towel placed under my ankles for extra comfort. This wasn't just any massage; it felt truly refined and high-end.
The tempo was slow and deliberate, yet the therapist applied precise pressure where needed, creating a beautifully controlled and therapeutic flow.
My only minor critique was the length of time spent face down – I'm not a huge fan of the face cradle, as it can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable.
Mid-session, they incorporated hot stones, which were a wonderful addition. After the massage, they even gave me the warm stones to hold, and applied warm compresses to my back, calves, and feet. It was pure bliss!
The 120 minutes flew by; it was an utterly fantastic experience.

Afterward, I was served another tea and, surprisingly, grapefruit! It was a refreshing treat. My incredibly satisfying AN's Spa Ho Chi Minh City massage cost approximately ~$40.
The spa's subtle Japanese influence contributes to its clean and organized feel. The reception staff were also exceptionally friendly, with that almost overly attentive kindness you sometimes encounter, like lowering themselves to eye level when speaking to you.
Overall, this was a highly enjoyable spa experience in Ho Chi Minh City. I mentioned earlier that I was glad there weren't too many options – that's because if I find a place I like, I usually can't rest until I've tried every single treatment! True to form, I ended up returning the very next day, and then again the day after, to try everything. (Well, almost everything – one remaining treatment seemed similar to what I'd already experienced in a package, so I skipped that one!)

By the time I finished my treatments, it was already getting dark. This complex has a certain charm in the evening, doesn't it?
If you're looking for a peaceful stay, I think booking an Airbnb in this area would be a fantastic idea. You could enjoy leisurely strolls around the complex and experience a different, more tranquil side of Ho Chi Minh City.
