My first solo trip to Ho Chi Minh City left me thinking I'd seen it all in a single day. The Cathedral (under renovation at the time), Ben Thanh Market, the Post Office, Book Street... it seemed like I had covered all the major sights. I remember thinking, "Is that all there is to see?"
But Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as many still call it, has a way of revealing its layers. What started as a quick stop has transformed into a city I find myself returning to again and again, each visit uncovering more of its captivating charm.

And sometimes, I've indulged in the city's more luxurious local spots. I've even discovered my favorite hidden cafes, perfect for settling in and getting some work done.
There's nothing quite like enjoying a cocktail at a stylish bar, soaking in the live music. This city truly offers a diverse range of experiences, which is why I opted for an Airbnb this time, seeking a more local stay experience.
Unlike a hotel, it truly felt like a home away from home, complete with some familiar comforts like Shin Ramyun!

Being on a high floor, I had a fantastic panoramic view of Ho Chi Minh City. While photos capture some of it, a video would truly give you the best sense of the unit's ambiance and the stunning vistas.

It was wonderful to have perfectly polished nails and toes for the rest of my Ho Chi Minh City adventure.
On the ground floor of the Millennium Masteri, you'll find a well-stocked grocery store and a convenience store, so grabbing essentials is incredibly easy. While I didn't need them, there was also a cafe and a pharmacy.
And of course, there's a gym and a swimming pool. The pool area, especially at night, transforms into a truly atmospheric and inviting space.
The stunning night views from the pool made me seriously contemplate whether to stick to my evening plans or just jump in for a swim!
Ultimately, hunger won out. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to explore the local seafood street nearby – it's an absolute must-try.
