I've explored Hiroshima's city attractions like the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, and Okonomimura on foot, and honestly... Hiroshima is bigger than you might expect! That's why I concluded that a transportation pass is an absolute must-have.

This pass covers Hiroshima city streetcars (Hiroden) and the Miyajima ferry. It's available for 1 to 3 days, making it perfect for shorter trips, like a 2-night, 3-day itinerary.

✔️ Gururin Pass (Setouchi Tabiwa)

The main advantage of this pass is access to JR trains. If you're looking to travel to Onomichi, Kure, or Iwakuni, then the Gururin Pass is definitely the way to go, no second thoughts needed.

Save Travel Time: A 40-Minute Difference

Choosing solely based on price might lead to regrets. Why? Because I've been there myself, haha!

I compared the JR Sanyo Main Line and the Hiroden streetcar, and the time difference was quite significant.

If you're planning to squeeze Miyajima into a tight schedule, even with an approximate 1,800 yen price difference, the Gururin Pass, which includes JR trains, is more efficient.
