Every time I passed by, the outdoor terrace was packed, sparking my curiosity. On my first visit, I tried their Americano and latte, and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices were reasonable, and the coffee was good. Plus, the air conditioning inside was blasting, offering a refreshing escape from the Ho Chi Minh heat. It's a fantastic spot for getting some work done, which is why I've already returned for a second time.

Let's take a look at the Three O'Clock menu.

I decided to try two new milk tea options on the menu, but honestly, Three O'Clock really shines with its coffee. I asked the staff what the difference was between the two milk teas, but they couldn't explain it well. So, I did a quick search (or "turned to Gemini" as the original playfully implied for AI assistance!):
The milk tea on the upper left is Gardenia Oolong Tea.
The milk tea on the lower right is Orchid Oolong Tea.
The topping on the milk tea was a bit hard, and a minor point of frustration: all iced drinks are served in disposable cups here. When I asked for a regular glass, they said they only had water glasses. It seems like you only get a proper latte mug when you order a hot latte, which is a bit of a bummer.

The Orchid Oolong Tea (left) and Gardenia Oolong Tea (right) were each 54,000 VND, which is approximately ~$2. While they certainly looked pretty, I probably wouldn't order them again.

This cafe is truly a place where everyone can settle in and focus on their own tasks.

Just like my previous visit, I settled into a spot on the second floor. There are plenty of seats and it's wonderfully cool, but this place is so popular with students and remote workers that finding an open table can be a challenge!

The view of Thao Dien An Phu from the terrace is quite charming.

There's a beautiful tropical flowering tree inside the cafe, and occasionally, its blossoms gently fall. It's truly lovely to admire the tree from above, adding to the cafe's serene atmosphere.

Even the terrace seating has power outlets, which is a huge plus! This explains why you see so many students and young professionals working here. Ho Chi Minh City truly is an excellent place for digital nomads.

Even the tables near the ordering counter fill up incredibly fast, especially after dinner time. It gets so busy that you might even find yourself sharing a table with others!

While the selection of bakery items isn't huge, their bread and cakes are surprisingly delicious!

They also sell a range of Three O'Clock Coffee merchandise, including hats, cups, and tumblers, perfect for a souvenir or a practical keepsake.

The outdoor seating area is always buzzing with activity, making it seem like the more popular choice. However, we personally prefer the cool comfort of the indoor seating.

Even the motorbike parking lot is typically full, a testament to its popularity!

Since the cafe operates out of a converted house, you'll find yourself walking up a set of stairs to reach what feels like the main ground floor entrance.

As you descend from the second floor to the first, you'll notice three charming windows in a row. The views from these windows are quite lovely, offering a different perspective of the cafe's surroundings.

This cafe is not only beautiful but also offers excellent value for its coffee. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stick to my favorite latte instead of trying a new menu item! It's truly a fantastic 24-hour cafe in Ho Chi Minh City, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while getting things done.
Beyond the Thao Dien An Phu area in District 2, you'll find several other Three O'Clock Coffee branches in District 1. Keep an eye out for them – they're definitely worth a visit!
