When traveling in Osaka, even if your accommodation is just a little far,

the day can feel unusually long.

Since I was also planning to focus on food and shopping,

I looked for a place where I could walk to Namba, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi.

The place I chose was Hatton Hotel Shinsaibashi.

After staying there myself, I found it was a hotel with clear strengths in location, practicality, and price, rather than lavish facilities.

The room was cozy, but it was convenient to drop off my shopping bags

and head back out.

Today, I'll summarize everything, including the location, rooms, amenities, breakfast information, and even some downsides.

Great Location Near Shinsaibashi Station and Check-in Process

so finding it for the first time was easy.

If you have luggage, it's a good idea to check the elevator location near the exit in advance.

Daimaru, Parco, and Shinsaibashi Arcade are all close by,

making it convenient to drop off heavy shopping bags in the room and head back out. I also walked to the Dotonbori Glico Man sign.

There's a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and many cafes and restaurants nearby,

making it easy to find breakfast or late-night dinner options.

The main building and annex face each other, so moving between them wasn't complicated, and you could store luggage before and after check-in.

The staff's service was also friendly.

In the lobby, there was a self-service amenity area where you could grab toothbrushes, razors, toner/lotion, body lotion, and tea as needed,

which eased the burden if you forgot anything.

A Cozy Room Packed with Everything You Need

2. Room Size and Bathroom

The room was a typical Japanese business hotel size, so it's hard to call it spacious, but by utilizing the storage, we could organize even two people's luggage.

By using the space under the bed and along the wall,

we didn't have to keep our suitcases open,

and with USB ports and outlets around the bed,

charging phones was easy.

The bathroom with a small tub was perfect for soaking after a long day of walking,

and basic toiletries could be picked up additionally from the lobby.

In the common area, an ice machine, water purifier, and microwave were available,

which was practical for enjoying convenience store food or drinks.

However, bottled water was not provided in the room,

and since the room itself isn't particularly spacious, those planning to spread out multiple large suitcases

might find it a bit cramped.

But since it's a place popular for its value and location,

I think it's worth checking out rooms suitable for your party size :)

Breakfast is served at IYEMON CAFE on the 1st floor of the Main Building,

I had plans to explore local eateries and cafes,

so I didn't primarily use the breakfast service.

There are plenty of places around Shinsaibashi to grab breakfast,
