Hantan River Spa Hotel Cheorwon: Goseokjeong Flower & River Views 2026

While visiting Cheorwon's Goseokjeong Flower Garden, I stumbled upon an absolutely incredible hotel.

So, what makes Hantan River Spa Hotel so incredible?

It majestically stands tall, visible right from the Goseokjeong Flower Garden!

Booking platforms are incredibly convenient these days, but you never truly know the real-life view until you see it yourself. That's why I always make an effort to scout out nearby accommodations when I travel. Finding a gem like this always brings such joy!

The view looked exactly like the flower garden, so I went directly to inquire.

Rooms with a Goseokjeong Flower Garden view are in the new wing of Hantan River Spa Hotel, and it seems only the 4-person suite rooms offer this.

Unfortunately, you cannot specifically request a Goseokjeong Flower Garden view; rooms are randomly assigned based on the order of online reservations.

While you can note your preferred view in the 'remarks' section when booking, it's not guaranteed. This option is only available when booking directly through the hotel's official website, as most third-party booking platforms don't offer a 'remarks' field.

It seems the best approach is to book well in advance.

Both the official website and booking platforms have their pros and cons, so choose based on your travel needs.

As of September 2026, the early Fall holiday season is mostly booked, but other dates in September are still available. You can snag a better deal through booking platforms like NOL (Yanolja) by grabbing their daily 'Su-special Day coupon', issued every morning until 09/10/2026.

It's said that the new wing's 4th to 6th floors offer the best flower garden views.

I'm definitely making a mental note to stay here next time!

Beyond the flower garden, the original Hantan River view was truly spectacular.

This stunning view is from the underground sauna entrance – imagine what the rooms offer!

While I haven't personally seen the room conditions, they seem decent for the capacity and location.

However, considering the price includes access to the hot spring sauna, it's a fantastic deal for bathhouse lovers like me.

The sauna fee was ~$9, but you can enjoy it for ~$7 by presenting a same-day Cheorwon tourist attraction ticket.

I'm someone who can't resist checking out an interesting bathhouse!

Despite worrying about traffic on the way home, I couldn't resist and ended up going into the sauna.

It took almost three hours to get home, but I had no regrets.

The sauna's relaxation area with its Hantan River view was incredibly pleasant, wasn't it?

For someone like me, a bathhouse enthusiast obsessed with scenic views, this was an absolutely insane experience.

After a morning of exploring the flower garden and climbing countless stairs at Goseokjeong, I was quite tired, but the sauna completely melted away my fatigue.

The bath area felt a bit dim, but that didn't detract from a great soak.

There were three types of baths: cold, warm, and hot. There was also a small sauna, perfectly adequate for a good bath, and the hot spring water was excellent.

I had visited a sauna in Gyeonggi Province the day before, and this one immediately stood out in comparison – a clear winner!
