HAIAN Beach Hotel & Spa: The Perfect My Khe Beach Stay!

Welcome to Da Nang! If you're like me, choosing a hotel here can be overwhelming simply because there are so many incredible options.

I wanted a place that offered sweeping views of My Khe Beach while still providing easy access to the bustling city center.

After a lot of research, I settled on the HAIAN Beach Hotel & Spa, and I have to say, it completely exceeded my expectations.

Today, I'm sharing my full review of this fantastic Da Nang hotel, conveniently located right near My Khe Beach. :)

The HAIAN Beach Hotel is situated directly across from My Khe Beach.

It's incredibly walkable, with fantastic local restaurants and massage spas all just a short stroll away.

Whenever we got tired from exploring the city, it was so convenient to just pop back into the hotel for a quick rest. It made our daily itineraries practically effortless.

Han Market, a major shopping hotspot, is only a 10-minute taxi ride (about 2-3 miles) away. There's no need to lug heavy shopping bags around—just hop in a cab!

This was my first international trip with my mom to celebrate her birthday, and the prime location meant zero stress, no arguments, and lots of smiles!

Prices naturally fluctuate based on your travel dates and room type. For reference, I booked an Ocean View Suite for 08/05/2026, and it cost around ~$115 per night.

The room was immaculately clean.

The sweeping, unobstructed view of My Khe Beach right from our window was absolutely breathtaking.

Best of all, the room was incredibly spacious.

We had two large suitcases fully opened on the floor and still had plenty of room to walk around comfortably.

The bathroom was spotless without a single water stain.

My mom is a tough critic when it comes to cleanliness, and she was completely satisfied.

Honestly, if it passes the "mom test," it's a solid 10/10!

One quick tip: since tap water in Southeast Asia can be harsh on sensitive skin, I highly recommend packing a filtered showerhead!

When I booked the room, I left a note mentioning that this was a birthday trip for my mom. When we checked in, the staff surprised us with a complimentary mini-cake!

Their thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail truly made our day.

When choosing a hotel in Da Nang, one feature was non-negotiable for me: a rooftop pool.

What's a tropical vacation without some poolside lounging?

HAIAN's rooftop pool boasts a stunning, unobstructed view of the ocean. It was the perfect spot to kill time during the day.

When the afternoon temperatures started hitting the upper 90s (Fahrenheit), walking outside felt like an oven. The pool was the ultimate sanctuary. We spent hours just relaxing up there without ever feeling the need to leave the hotel.

Sipping a cocktail while gazing out at that brilliant blue water gave us the ultimate vacation vibe.

Breakfast is crucial when booking a stay.

This is especially true when traveling with parents, as you want to make sure there are plenty of options they'll enjoy.

HAIAN Beach Hotel's breakfast buffet was quite impressive. While it might not be Michelin-star dining, the food was delicious and very approachable, even for travelers who are sensitive to strong local spices.

The spread included standard Western options like salads, cheeses, meats, and pastries, alongside Asian dishes like curry, fried rice, and even spicy chicken.

They also had Korean comfort foods like kimbap and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). It's a great safety net if you ever need a break from local cuisine!
