Whenever I plan a trip, one of my absolute must-do activities is a souvenir shop tour. It's how I really get a feel for a place!
On my recent adventure to Gunsan, I managed to visit six different souvenir shops all in one day. Talk about a retail therapy marathon!
Each shop had such a distinct concept, keeping me completely captivated the entire time. No two felt alike!
I've put together a list of the Gunsan souvenir shops I visited, in the exact order I explored them.

1. Hyehyang: The Diffuser Scent Transported Me to Paris
My first stop was Hyehyang. As I sampled the various diffuser scents, the 'Merci' fragrance instantly and surprisingly brought back vivid memories of my trip to Paris.

2. My Little Home: A Slice of Japanese Aesthetic Heaven
Next up was My Little Home, a place that anyone who loves Japanese aesthetics simply cannot pass by.
From charming tableware to adorable character merchandise, this shop was brimming with cute, distinctly Japanese-style items. It was so much fun browsing through everything!

3. Peace Office: Uniquely Vintage and Wonderfully Curated
My third stop, Peace Office, immediately impressed me with its incredibly clear and strong concept.
It was filled with stylish vintage items, making it a fantastic spot for taking photos.
With a variety of office-themed items and even plants, it's a great place to find unique decorative pieces for your home or workspace!

4. View Museum: An Unmanned Gem Discovered Near Isungdang
My fourth discovery was View Museum, which I stumbled upon quite by accident on my way to Isungdang, Gunsan's famous bakery.
Since it operates as an unmanned shop, it was wonderfully quiet, allowing me to browse at my own pace without feeling rushed.
And because Isungdang is practically a mandatory stop for anyone visiting Gunsan,

5. Dalbit Jeomppang: Your Go-To for Affordable Souvenirs
My fifth stop was Dalbit Jeomppang, where postcards were only ~$1. This made picking up travel souvenirs incredibly budget-friendly.
It had a charming general store vibe, perfect for finding small, memorable gifts. Plus, its location on the way to Hirotsu House meant it was easily accessible among Gunsan's souvenir shops.

6. More&More: My Top Pick for Gunsan's Best Concept Store
Last but certainly not least, More&More. I'm officially declaring this my number one souvenir shop in Gunsan!
With its distinctive orange interior, this space brings together a diverse range of trendy brand items. Everything, from the displays to the products themselves, was incredibly hip and stylish!
Located right next to Dalbit Jeomppang and on the way to the Shinheungdong Japanese House, it's perfectly situated for your Gunsan travel plans.
Seriously, even if you skip other places, make sure to visit this one! They also have beautiful postcards and posters.
