Looking for the perfect family stay in Vietnam? Our 2026 Grandvrio Ocean Resort Danang review covers the pools, kids' club, and budget-friendly luxury.

When planning our trip to Da Nang with a little one,
the thing we struggled with the most was, without a doubt, the accommodation.
The place we finally landed on was none other than
Grandvrio Ocean Resort.
Today, I’m excited to share our family's
2-night review of Grandvrio Ocean Resort, along with
some amazing discount tips for July 2026,
so make sure to read all the way to the end! :)
A Budget-Friendly 5-Star Resort Perfect for Kids

When you're planning a trip with kids,
choosing the right resort can be a real headache.
But after picking Grandvrio Ocean Resort and staying there,
I can honestly say we were absolutely, 100% satisfied.

First of all, the value for money is incredible.
Other beachfront 5-star resorts nearby
easily start at ~$256 to ~$320 per night,
but Grandvrio Resort is only around ~$64 to ~$128 per night!
Since we were traveling with a child,
we didn't want to compromise on quality by choosing a lower-tier hotel,
so finding such a high-quality place at this price point was amazing.

Plus, it is incredibly kid-friendly.
They have a great kids' club,
and tons of activities you can do with your children.
They even rent out Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses) for free—kids' sizes included!
And you can even access the large public bath with your kids.
Honestly, how is all of this even possible?!

The location was also fantastic.

Since it's right between Da Nang and Hoi An,
you might think it's a bit awkward to get around,
but it's actually just a 10-minute drive to Hoi An.
And they even run a free shuttle service to both Hoi An and downtown Da Nang!
Instead of the hectic bustle of central Da Nang,
it was peacefully quiet, allowing us to fully focus on relaxing with our child.
That's why it was our ultimate choice!

Grand Deluxe Room Review

The room we stayed in was the Grand Deluxe.
While they do offer pool villas,
we figured a standard room would be more than enough for our short 2-night stay.
The room had high ceilings, so it felt very airy and spacious,
with plenty of space even with all our suitcases fully open.

We stayed in a Grand Deluxe twin room,
and the beds were super easy to push together.
It was so convenient because we didn't even need to request a bed guard! :)
Plus, with the marble flooring,
it felt so clean and perfect for staying with a child!

Stepping out onto the balcony, you get a lovely view of palm trees
and the pool. Even though it wasn't a full ocean view,
the lush, green scenery gave off the ultimate tropical resort vibe.

The mini-fridge was quite spacious,
and they even provided straw hats and handy resort bags.
They were so useful whenever we headed out to Hoi An
or down to the beach!

The bathroom featured a clever layout with a separate shower space, a double vanity, and a private toilet.
Having two sinks made getting ready alongside my husband and child
an absolute breeze. Plus, the water pressure was super strong,
and the entire space was sparkling clean, which gave me complete peace of mind!
Resort Facilities

Breakfast here is super unique because you can choose between a buffet, a traditional Japanese set menu,
or a classic American-style breakfast.
We ended up going with the buffet option for both mornings of our stay!

We preferred the variety of a buffet over a single Japanese set tray,
and as for the American option... well, I’m the kind of traveler who
absolutely needs to have some rice to kickstart the day, so we skipped that one!

The pool area is divided into a main pool, a kids' pool, and a spa pool.
The kids' pool has a shallow depth, so my child could splash around safely and confidently.
You can even order drinks right from your sunbed using a QR code—it was so incredibly convenient!

They even have a Japanese-style public bath (onsen)!
After a long day of exploring under the sun,
sinking into the warm water
felt like absolute heaven—all my fatigue just completely melted away!

One of our absolute favorite perks at Grandvrio Ocean Resort Danang
was the **complimentary Ao Dai rental service**!
And you aren't just limited to wearing them inside the resort—
you're actually allowed to wear them out on your sightseeing adventures.
Our whole family dressed up and explored the ancient town of Hoi An together,
capturing so many beautiful memories and photos. It was such a wonderful experience!
