Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang | Maia Spa Booking Guide & Honest Treatment Review
One of the reasons I was most excited when booking Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang was the amazing perk: one massage per person, per night, included!
In this post, I'm sharing all about the core benefits of a spa-inclusive room,
how to book Maia Spa, insider tips, important things to note, and my honest review.
Almost all rooms at Fusion Resort Da Nang, except for some Golf View rooms, are spa-inclusive!
📍 Spa Inclusive Benefits:
✅ One 50-minute Maia Spa treatment per person, per night, included (for guests aged 16 and over)
✅ Complimentary access to sauna and indoor heated pool
✅Access to exclusive yoga programs and a dedicated fitness center
For a 3-night, 4-day stay, 4 adults can each enjoy 3 massages, which means an incredible value with all these spa treatments included! A spa-inclusive room is definitely a smart choice.
It's also super convenient to have the spa right within the resort, and knowing that the facilities are clean, hygienic, and the massage quality is generally assured is a huge plus.
Maia Spa also operates as a paid spa, offering a variety of menus like body treatments, facials, scrubs, back & shoulder massages, and prenatal massages, with options for both 50-minute and 75-minute courses.
The complimentary menu options included with the spa-inclusive package are listed below. Please note that menu items may vary depending on the season!

Entering Maia Spa
✔️ Arrive with plenty of time
We heard that the 50-minute countdown begins the moment you enter the changing room,
so it's a good idea to arrive about 10 minutes before your reservation time to enter at your leisure.
Upon entering, after confirming your reservation at the lobby, you'll receive a welcome tea and a hand towel, and get to sample the oil scents for your spa treatment.
You'll fill out a consultation form to indicate areas to avoid, areas to focus on, pressure preferences, and more.
After that, you'll change in the locker room, and your spa course will begin!
The spa's internal facilities are surprisingly well-equipped and professional.
You can freely use the private indoor swimming pool and sauna,
so make sure to take full advantage of them before and after your 50-minute treatment!
✔️ Indoor Heated Pool (261㎡) — Exclusive for Spa Inclusive room guests
✔️ Yoga Room — Space for wellness programs
✔️ Private Fitness Center (Pulse) — Equipped with cardio machines, weights, and functional training equipment
✔️ 2 Infrared Saunas + 2 Steam Saunas — Free to use, usually not crowded
By the way, the Maia Spa lobby also manages yoga wellness programs, so you can book yoga sessions here as well.
My wellness program review will be continued in a future post...
Limited to the 50-minute courses included in the Spa Inclusive room benefits
I'll be sharing reviews of the various massage courses my family of four enjoyed over our 3-night stay.
(Can be subjective & varies greatly depending on the masseuse)
✅️ You can adjust the pressure if it's too weak or too strong (Reviews can differ even for the same menu and requested pressure)
✅️ Our family was generally satisfied
✅️ Massage rooms available include single and double rooms
✅️ Excluding facial and back & shoulder treatments, massages are received wearing only disposable underwear and a gown
✅️ You can proceed by just providing your room number, so one person can receive on behalf of other guests
✅️ No separate tip is required
1. Maia Vietnamese Massage, including Cupping (50 minutes)
Oil: Yes
This includes a traditional Vietnamese massage course + cupping, and you're free to choose whether or not to include cupping!
The traditional Vietnamese massage flow is an overall satisfying basic course! (My top pick)
It was my first time trying cupping, and my whole body definitely felt refreshed. Just a heads-up, wearing a backless dress afterward made my back look pretty intense... haha!
2. Deep Tissue Treatment (50 minutes)
Oil: Yes
This massage uses elbows and is highly recommended if you want to really release tension deep within your muscles!
Typically, those who prefer strong pressure will enjoy it. Be aware that it might feel painful for men with less flexible muscles.
3. Maia Signature Relaxing Treatment (50 minutes)
Spa products are also for sale
Oil: Yes
Even though it's called a 'signature' treatment, I didn't feel a big difference from the traditional Vietnamese massage.
It's a gentle flow focused on relaxation, so I recommend it for those who prefer moderate pressure.
4. Head Back and Shoulder Therapy (50 minutes)
Hot Stone: Yes
This course specifically targets the back and shoulders, relieving those chronic aches that modern people often suffer from. (Dad's top pick)
It was a great course that also helped clear headaches, and the hot stones warming everything up made it even better, according to reviews.
5. Face-O-Logy (50 Minutes)
This treatment includes everything from a full facial cleansing to a gentle massage and a mask pack!
Afterward, my face definitely felt plump and brighter.
Considering how pricey facial massages can be in Korea, it was wonderful to be able to include a facial!
6. Cleansing and Brightening Facial (50 Minutes)
This facial massage is similar to Face-O-Logy but focuses more intensively on exfoliation!
My mom received it, and she came back saying her blackheads were significantly reduced and her face was much clearer overall. (Mom and sister's top pick)
For those who regularly get skin treatments in Korea, the effect might feel subtle, but my mom, who had never had a skin treatment before, was extremely satisfied.
(Also note that the original price is higher than Face-O-Logy~)
Summary
✅️What We Loved
The facilities themselves are luxurious and clean
The treatment room atmosphere is quiet and pleasant
Indoor pool and sauna are also available for use
Wide variety of menu options
All family members were highly satisfied
✅️ Things to Note
Only available for ages 16 and up
Changing reservations can be more cumbersome than expected
Popular time slots and group rooms fill up quickly, advance booking is essential
The 50-minute count starts from the moment you enter the changing room, so arriving late will shorten your session
Overall, the massage therapists were highly skilled,
making Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang a satisfying place for a proper resort vacation!
For this quality at this price, I absolutely recommend going for the spa-inclusive room,
