Fusion Resort Da Nang Review 2026: Family-Friendly Spa & Pool

When you're choosing accommodation for a family trip to Da Nang,

you often wonder whether to stay in the city center or a resort.

It's a big decision, isn't it?

Since I was traveling with two children, I knew the accommodation's

condition was crucial, so a resort seemed like the better option.

After comparing various places, I ended up staying at Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang,

and I was absolutely delighted with my choice!

Today, I'll be sharing details about the differences in room views at Fusion Resort Da Nang,

the massage I received at Maia Spa,

and my reviews of the breakfast, swimming pool, and kids' club.

(I'll also include a secret tip for booking at the lowest price!)

1. Da Nang Resort Location & Check-in

Fusion Resort Da Nang is beautifully situated on Non Nuoc Beach.

It's a little bit outside the city center,

but it's conveniently located between the city and Hoi An,

which means traveling to Hoi An, Da Nang city, or Ba Na Hills

doesn't take long at all – a real plus!

(With two kids, long travel times can be a real hassle,

so this location was perfect for us.)

📌 Fusion Resort Da Nang Check-in/Check-out Times

Check-in: 3:00 PM

Check-out: 12:00 PM

As expected from a 5-star resort, the lobby was incredibly spacious and inviting,

making me feel wonderful from the moment I stepped inside.

Check-in isn't the usual queue-at-the-counter style;

instead, you can relax on a sofa in the lobby,

and a staff member will come to you with a tablet to complete the process.

Not having to stand in line with the kids was surprisingly convenient!

This was actually much more comfortable than I expected.

Flights to Da Nang often depart late at night or early in the morning,

so many people opt for a paid late check-out, right?

But here's a fantastic perk: at Fusion Resort, you can use the swimming pool for free

even after you've checked out!

Since there are showers right next to the pool,

you don't even need to pay for a late check-out

to enjoy your day as if you had one!

2. Fusion Resort Room Views: Ocean, Garden, and Golf – What's the Difference?

At Fusion Resort Da Nang, the guest rooms are located in the main building,

while the pool villas are situated further down towards the ocean.

Because the main building is positioned slightly higher,

if you choose an ocean view room,

you'll get a stunning, unobstructed view of the sea from any room.

Even on lower floors, the view won't disappoint!

What's more, your view choice also determines whether a spa treatment is included.

All rooms, except for the Garden View and Golf View,

include a 50-minute spa treatment for two.

Maia Spa's prices are definitely a bit higher than city massage shops,

so rather than saving a little on accommodation by choosing a Garden or Golf View,

I felt it was more worthwhile to book an Ocean View room and get the spa included.

That's why I opted for an Ocean View!

Early check-in wasn't possible as the room wasn't ready,

but they promised to email me once it was.

Around 2 PM, I received a notification that check-in was available.

After checking in and entering the room,

I found it to be incredibly spacious and comfortable.

The bed was positioned perfectly to gaze at the ocean while lying down,

and since it's a newer resort,

the overall condition was excellent.

The TV was a good size, and there was a separate terrace outside.

The bathroom area itself was incredibly spacious,

with the toilet and shower separated.

A handy towel rack was placed between them, which was very convenient.

Having two sinks was great for getting the kids ready.

There was also a bathtub, offering ocean views, and they even provided bath salts,

which I thought was a thoughtful touch!

Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all provided in refillable dispensers.

As for the kids' amenities, we received them in disposable sizes!

Beyond that, everything else like toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, combs, shower caps, and body towels were all provided, so you might only need to bring your facial cleanser.

The minibar fridge had dried mango, cashews, and drinks, but honestly, there wasn't a huge selection.

We weren't planning on using it anyway, so it wasn't an issue for us.

If you happen to have an anniversary or special occasion close to your visit to Fusion Resort, definitely apply for the anniversary event!

Since our trip was around my first child's birthday, I inquired about anniversary services after booking.

They said a celebration cake could be provided, so I requested one, right?

But when we arrived, not only was there a cake in the room, but the bed was also beautifully decorated with a towel cake, rose petals, and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner!

My child absolutely loved it, and it was truly one of the most memorable scenes from our family trip to Da Nang, haha.

This isn't something that's provided automatically, so if you're planning to stay around an anniversary or special day, I highly recommend inquiring after your booking is confirmed.

3. Tips for Booking a Price Including Maia Spa Massage

Half the reason for choosing this resort is the spa... (My husband wasn't keen on moving accommodations, but I lured him with the spa!)

There's a Maia Spa within the resort, and a couples' massage is wonderfully included with your stay!

📌 Things to Know Before Using the Spa

· Garden View and Golf View rooms are excluded from the spa package.

· Entry is permitted for guests aged 16 and up.

· Reservations can be made even before check-in, which is super convenient.

· Choose your aroma oil from Relax / Renew / Revitalize – pick what speaks to you!

If you have a child, couples unfortunately can't receive massages together (and I'm not even sure if there are two-person beds).

We ended up taking turns, with a 30-minute interval between our sessions~

While one of us was enjoying a massage, the other looked after the children.

To secure your desired massage time, it seems crucial to book your time slot in advance.

You can book your massage time even before check-in, so if you have a preferred time, I highly recommend inquiring and securing it after your booking is confirmed.

📌 Maia Spa Operating Hours

11 AM ~ 7 PM

Also, many spas don't offer prenatal massages, but Maia Spa does!

Perhaps that's why there were so many people enjoying babymoons here.

Maia Spa is located in the building below the main one,

and inside, you'll find the spa, sauna, fitness center, and more.

I arrived about 10 minutes before my pre-booked time,

filled out a quick questionnaire,

changed, and went straight in for my massage!

​

I had it in a private room, and the massage pressure was just right.

The ambiance was incredibly relaxing and wonderful...

​

They also offer a variety of wellness programs

that I was so eager to try!

​

Honestly, one night here just isn't enough!

I highly recommend staying for at least two nights!!

4. Breakfast, Pool Temperature, Kids Club

The breakfast restaurant is located directly opposite Maia Spa,

and it operates as a buffet.

6:30 AM ~ 10:30 AM

We took a buggy around 8 AM, and there were plenty of seats available.

​

There was a selection of Japanese and Korean dishes,

along with separate Banh Mi and hot food counters.

​

Omelets, Eggs Benedict, and fried eggs

are made to order upon request.

There was even a pho noodle bar!

​

The bakery selection was also quite extensive,

and the chocolate fountain with marshmallows

was incredibly impressive! Haha.

​

📌 Fusion Resort Pool Hours

6:30 AM ~ 7:00 PM

​

The pool area features a long, expansive main pool,

and there's a separate shallow zone for infants and toddlers.

Beyond the toddler zone, the depth was also just right,

so the kids had an absolutely fantastic time! Super satisfied.

There were plenty of sunbeds and parasols available,

and sunbed use is completely free of charge.

​

With the beach right in front, it was easy to transition from pool play

to a dip in the ocean.

​

While the pool isn't heated,

the water temperature wasn't cold, making it perfectly comfortable

for kids to play in.

​

Life vests and arm floats are available for free rental,

but there are very few arm floats (maybe 1-2?).

There was also one large tube,

but it felt like someone had just left it behind after using it,

so it's probably best to assume they aren't readily available.

​

❗️ If you're bringing young children,

definitely pack a baby swim seat float.

(They will inflate your tubes for you!)

There were also some paid activities to enjoy at the pool.

These included electric kickboards, electric water guns, and underwater scooters.

Watching another family, the water guns looked like a lot of fun!

Finally, we also visited the Kids Club!

They had an amazing variety of kids' programs.

​

From 9:30 AM to around 5:00 PM,

there were so many different craft and experiential activities scheduled for each time slot.

Seriously, stay for at least two nights, haha!

There's also a small playground and hammocks on the outdoor lawn,

so it felt like you could spend quite a bit of time there too.
