Looking for the perfect Da Nang family getaway? Read our review of Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, featuring ocean-view suites, inclusive spa, and pools.

When planning a family trip to Da Nang, you'll definitely want to spend at least one full day just relaxing and swimming at a resort.
After staying at Fusion Resort Da Nang myself, I was incredibly impressed—especially since the package came with both breakfast and spa treatments included!
The value was even better than I expected,
and the overall experience was absolutely fantastic.
I'll take you through everything, from our twin room and the swimming pool to the spa and breakfast reviews!
Plus, I'll share some insider tips on how to book this paradise at a discount.
1. Why I Highly Recommend This Da Nang Resort

📌 Why Choose Fusion Resort Da Nang
· The hotel building consists entirely of suites
· Premium amenities including a private beach, outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, spa, and kids' club
· Starting at around ~$130+ per night, it's incredibly reasonable for a family stay (and that includes breakfast + spa treatments!)
Location-wise, it sits perfectly between downtown Da Nang and Hoi An, which was ideal since we planned to explore Hoi An too.
As a newly built property in 2024,
everything felt amazingly fresh, modern, and clean!
2. Fusion Resort Twin Room

Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang is divided into
the hotel wing and private standalone villas.
I stayed in an Ocean View Twin Suite in the hotel wing,
and at around 60 square meters,
the room was incredibly spacious for two adults.
(This room can accommodate up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children,
with the option to add an extra bed.)

Having a dedicated sofa/living area
made our stay so much more comfortable.
It was the perfect spot to gather, eat fresh tropical fruit, and watch TV,
or just wind down separately in the evening.

The bathroom featured a double vanity layout with two sinks facing each other,
plus a separate bathtub, shower booth, and toilet.
With two sinks and separate spaces,
getting ready in the morning was a breeze without anyone getting in each other's way.

3. Detailed Room Review

Check-in: 3:00 PM / Check-out: 12:00 PM
We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and cold towel at check-in,
but stepping into the room to find a separate spread of welcome treats and drinks
really made us feel pampered from the start!
I had the most relaxing time enjoying my welcome treats out on the ocean-view terrace!

For amenities, they provided multi-use bottles of
hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion.
Single-use items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, and cotton pads
were also provided in their own packaging,
so you really only need to pack your basic personal toiletries.

The hair dryer is located under the vanity sink,
and it was surprisingly powerful—I used it quite a bit during my stay!

Complimentary bottled water, sparkling water, and sports drinks were provided,
along with a coffee machine and tea bags.
The room slippers were flip-flop style,
which was super convenient for walking to the pool or beach!

The rooms at Fusion Resort Da Nang are split into Garden View and Ocean View.
If you plan on spending a lot of time relaxing inside the resort,
I highly recommend booking the Ocean View—the experience is so worth it!
4. Swimming Pool & Spa

Pool Hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
The pool is huge, stretching out towards the private beach
right in front of the main restaurant building.
There were plenty of parasols and beach chairs scattered around for relaxing.
Tip: Besides the main outdoor pool, there's also
an indoor heated pool inside the spa building.
(It's amazing to head to the indoor heated pool after a swim outdoors!)

Underwater Scooter Rental: 400,000 – 550,000 VND (~$16 – $22) / 30 mins
They even rent out gear like underwater scooters!
It's not something you see at your typical resort pool,
so I found it really cool and unique.

Right in front of the pool lies the private beach of Fusion Resort.
Since it's a private beach,
it was much quieter and more peaceful than the crowded My Khe Beach,
and with designated photo spots and hammocks tucked in the shade,
it was the perfect place to unwind while listening to the waves!

I booked my room with a package that included one spa treatment course.
(You get to schedule your spa time in advance when you check in.)
· Maia Signature Relaxing Treatment
· Maia Vietnamese Massage
· Deep Tissue Treatment
· Shiatsu Treatment
You can choose one of these options for your session.
I went with the Shiatsu Treatment, which uses traditional Japanese acupressure techniques,
and honestly, it was the best massage of my life!..👍🏻
I had a lingering headache from all the travel fatigue built up over the trip,
but after the spa session, my body felt incredibly light and refreshed!
5. Breakfast

Breakfast Hours: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
(Until 11:00 AM on weekends)
Breakfast is served at Fresh Restaurant, which is right by the pool.
If your room is a bit far,
you can easily catch a buggy from the lobby to get there.
The breakfast spread is buffet-style, featuring everything from local Vietnamese favorites like Pho and Banh Mi
to Korean, Japanese, and Western dishes.

You can't talk about a Southeast Asian vacation without breakfast!
They had a great selection of fresh fruits like watermelon, melon, pineapple, and more,
making it so easy to grab a healthy, refreshing bite.

Every morning, I loaded my plate with pastries, Banh Mi, spring rolls, Pho,
and fresh juice. The selection was so diverse
that even during a multi-night stay, the menu never felt repetitive.
Kids and parents can stick to familiar comfort foods,
while I could indulge in authentic local dishes.
It was perfect for the family because everyone could eat exactly what they wanted!
(I'll write a separate, detailed post about the breakfast later!)
