From the hotel, Dotonbori and the Glico Running Man are just a 5-minute walk away.

It's also close to Nipponbashi, which made exploring incredibly convenient.

There were tons of amazing restaurants nearby, and being right by the station on a main street,

I felt safe even walking around late at night because there were always people around.

The location alone made me incredibly happy.

One thing I was worried about when planning my trip to Japan

was the hotel prices.

While capsule hotel prices vary depending on the area and season,

Female and male cabins are separated.

The female-only cabins tend to sell out faster than the male cabins,

so I recommend booking early if you're a female traveler.

First Cabin Midosuji Namba occupies the 3rd and 4th floors.

The 3rd floor houses the check-in lobby, the large communal bath, and some cabins.

The 4th floor was entirely cabins.

If you go right past the Otani sign, you'll find the hotel lobby.

You check in on the 3rd floor.

You pay the accommodation tax during check-in, and both cash and card are accepted.

There are self-check-in machines,

and also a staffed desk,

so it's not difficult at all.

After checking in, they'll give you a key card for your cabin

and explain the important guidelines.

Next to the front desk, there's an amenity bar with toothbrushes, slippers, razors, combs, and other items you can take freely as needed.

One towel is provided daily, and you just show your key card at the lobby to pick it up.

The lobby has a common lounge area,

where you can bring in outside food to eat,

or even get some laptop work done.

There's also a microwave and a coffee machine,

and the hotel even sold some simple snacks and drinks.

Before entering the room area, you change into slippers,

and store your shoes separately in a shoe locker.

Overall, it felt very clean and hygienic,

and well-maintained.

In the common area, there's a phone booth and a massage chair vending machine.

You can enter your room with a key card.

Rooms are located on both sides.

The room entrances are designed with curtains instead of doors.

While it's not perfectly soundproof, the atmosphere is quiet,

so everyone tries to be as quiet as possible.

I really liked that the space was more generous than a typical capsule hotel.

For ~$35 a night, it comes with a bed, a table, space to open your luggage,

and even a full-length mirror plus hangers.

There was also a locker under the bed for storing valuables.

Pajamas and towels are provided in the room.

It was so convenient not having to bring my own pajamas.

The high ceiling was also a plus, preventing any cramped feelings.

This means even first-time capsule hotel users can enjoy their stay without much discomfort.

Large Public Bath Review

One of the most satisfying facilities at this capsule hotel was undoubtedly

the large public bath.

Located on the 3rd floor, just like the lobby,

you can grab your pajamas and towels from your room and head straight there.

The 3rd and 4th floors are connected by stairs within the room area,

allowing easy access.

Inside the large public bath, there's a spacious hot tub,

perfect for unwinding and relieving all the travel fatigue

after a long day of exploring.

The facilities also felt very cleanly managed.

There are also individual shower stalls available.

The shower areas are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

In the powder room, you'll find hairdryers, cotton swabs, and more.

It was truly a convenient place to stay.

Having actually stayed there, I was highly satisfied; despite being a capsule hotel, it offered spacious rooms and excellent public bath facilities.
