Sometimes, when you're at a resort, you find yourself surrounded by so many Koreans
that you wonder if you're even in Vietnam or back home in Korea, right?
For this trip, I was really craving that genuine 'abroad' feeling,
a truly relaxed and exotic vibe.
That's why I spent ages deliberating over where to stay in Phu Quoc.
And after all that deliberation, the place I finally settled on was none other than
Phu Quoc Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort.
It turned out to be even better than I'd hoped!
Today, I'll be diving deep into my detailed breakfast review!
01. Phu Quoc Dusit Princess: Location & Check-in
Check-in: 3 PM / Check-out: 12 PM
Having just returned from my trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, I can tell you
that the location of your accommodation truly makes all the difference.
The Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort is
conveniently located in the central part of the island, making it super easy to get around.
We could arrive in less than 10 minutes by car from the airport!
With King Kong Mart, massage parlors, and famous restaurants all nearby,
it was perfect for exploring throughout our entire trip.
My friend and I booked a Garden View Deluxe Twin Room
and stayed for one night.
The twin room price was in the early ~$70s per night,
and I felt it offered truly excellent value for a 4-star resort.
I was completely satisfied, feeling pampered and well-cared for throughout our entire stay.

02. An Infinity Pool Merging with the Sea
One of the resort's absolute biggest charms is undoubtedly its swimming pool.
While it might be a modest size compared to some colossal resorts,
its ocean-view infinity pool, seamlessly blending with the sea,
is truly breathtaking.
It's directly connected to Long Beach, right in front of the resort, making it perfect for
a private ocean dip or
simply soaking in a stunning sunset.
Even though the depth is 1.5M, it's not a turbulent wave pool, so
even if you're not a strong swimmer, you can enjoy it comfortably.
I actually visited Phu Quoc during the rainy season.
To be honest, I was quite worried it would just keep raining the whole time, but
the rain would usually pass quickly, giving way to clear skies again,
so it honestly didn't really hinder our travel plans at all.
We even played in the pool when it started raining, and just playing under the rain showers,
the sun would pop out again, shining brightly! Haha.
03. Phu Quoc Dusit Princess: Breakfast Review
Breakfast Hours: 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Quiet: 6:30 AM ~ 8:30 AM
Busy: 8:30 AM ~ 9:30 AM
Quiet: 9:30 AM ~ 10:00 AM
Personally, what I was most satisfied with was definitely the breakfast!
You can enjoy it at Palm Kitchen, conveniently located right next to the pool.
Since it's busiest between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM,
if you prefer a more leisurely dining experience, I highly recommend going early.
The breakfast menu is packed with delights, from fresh fruits, breads, sausages, and cheeses to
a wide array of authentic Vietnamese dishes.
And especially at the Egg Live Station, you'll find
You can order fried eggs, omelets, and scrambled eggs.
Vietnamese beef rolls, papaya salad, and more!
A fantastic array of Southeast Asian dishes is also available.
It makes sense, given that the Dusit Resort Hotel is a Thai brand,
that they also offered incredible Thai dishes
like the famed papaya salad, Som Tum.
The warm dishes were thoughtfully kept at the perfect serving temperature,
ensuring I could always enjoy my food hot and absolutely delicious.
And oh, the bakery corner! They had these adorable small baguettes.
You absolutely *must* try these. The crust is perfectly crispy, while the inside is wonderfully chewy.
It's a fascinating bit of history – Vietnam's baguette culture originated
when French baking techniques naturally permeated the country
during its French colonial period in the mid-19th century.
However, Vietnamese baguettes are truly unique! They're made by mixing rice flour with wheat flour,
resulting in a thinner, even crispier crust than traditional French baguettes,
while the inside remains wonderfully soft and chewy.
It's also incredibly moist.
Honestly, I think Vietnamese baguettes are even more enjoyable
and delicious than their French counterparts!
Of course, they also had all the breakfast classics you'd expect at any great hotel or resort –
sausages, bacon, and eggs –
so you can pile your plate high to your heart's content!
With a great variety of cheeses and hams available,
pairing them with that incredible Vietnamese baguette was pure bliss!
When you're traveling in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, indulging in fresh fruit isn't just an option – it's an absolute must!
And Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort certainly delivered
with a fantastic array of tropical fruits at breakfast.
From refreshing watermelon and crisp rose apples to sweet papaya and juicy rambutan, they had it all!
Plus, there were plenty of delicious fruit compotes which I loved mixing with yogurt.
Seriously, Southeast Asian fruits are pure love! 🧡
What really surprised me was a dedicated Bibimbap corner, clearly set up with Korean guests in mind!
They even had fusion Korean dishes like Kimchi Stir-fried Pork,
and to be honest, I didn't go in with super high expectations.
But to my pleasant surprise, it was actually quite delicious!
I ended up enjoying a really hearty start to my day.
The pho noodle soup menu seems to rotate a bit each day, which is exciting!
When I visited, they were serving up a delicious chicken pho.
The broth was incredibly refreshing and flavorful,
so much so that I went back for seconds!
Trust me, you absolutely HAVE to try this pho! It's a game-changer! ✨
And for those with a sweet tooth, there were plenty of delightful breads, donuts, and cakes,
There was so much food that I finished off with coffee at the end! >,<
I really should be eating lunch, but breakfast was just too delicious, so I totally feasted!
While **Vietnamese coffee** is self-serve, you just pour and enjoy,
for coffees like **Americano, Cafe Latte, or Cappuccino,**
if you order them separately, they'll bring them right to your table,
making it super convenient to enjoy.

04. Phu Quoc Resort Recommendation: Final Thoughts
While exploring Phu Quoc, I’ve had the chance to stay at other well-known accommodations, but
this one truly let me relax deeply, giving off those amazing **international resort vibes**, and
with such incredible value for money, I honestly think this was the best place I stayed.
Thanks to its quiet and tranquil atmosphere, for those visiting Phu Quoc
**who want to avoid places bustling with too many Koreans,**
**I think this is the perfect accommodation.**
Every room comes with a private balcony, which is just fantastic for enjoying the evening
sea breeze and soaking up some peaceful downtime.
For couples, friends, or even families looking to enjoy a fantastic pool and delicious breakfast in a relaxed,
and budget-friendly way, I truly can't recommend this place enough!
If I ever find myself back in Phu Quoc,
this is definitely a place I'd want to stay at again – it’s that memorable!
