My Tried-and-True Don Quijote Shopping List
This haul is packed with the best Japanese drugstore holy grails and must-try snacks.

1. Roihi-Tsuboko Pain Relief Patches (156 pcs / 78 pcs)
Highly recommended as a practical souvenir for parents!
The 78-pack features larger patches, while the 156-pack has smaller, coin-sized ones.
My mom specifically begged me to stock up on these before I left for Osaka!
They deliver a soothing, deep-heating sensation that targets muscle pain instantly. They are a true Japanese drugstore classic.
They are incredibly easy to apply precisely where you need them.
They are much more expensive online or at import shops back home, so even if you do not have back pain right now, grab a few boxes anyway!

2. Ohta's Isan (Stomach Powder)
The ultimate savior when you have overindulged in Osaka's street food and feel bloated.
Since it is a fine powder, it absorbs incredibly fast and works wonders for indigestion or acid reflux.
The individual sachet packets are super portable, making them a permanent fixture in my travel daypack!

3. Quality 1st Derma Laser Mask
The Quality 1st Derma Laser Mask series is color-coded by skin concern, so you can easily customize your skincare.
The gold "Super VC100" version is packed with highly concentrated Vitamin C, which instantly brightens your complexion and leaves your skin feeling incredibly plump and firm.
At around 700 JPY (approx. $4.50) for a pack of 7 sheets, the value is unbeatable!
If you are a sheet mask enthusiast, this is an absolute must-buy.

4. Sakamukea Liquid Bandage
A lifesaver for minor cuts, hangnails, or blisters!
I constantly get tiny paper cuts or nicks while cooking, and regular waterproof band-aids always peel off the moment they touch water.
But this liquid bandage is a total game-changer. It paints on like nail polish, dries instantly into a completely waterproof seal, and stays put, helping cuts heal much faster.

5. Pelican Soap "Peach Hip" Scrub Soap (Koisuru Oshiri)
This is a massive viral beauty sensation on TikTok and Instagram!
It gently exfoliates and softens rough skin. While designed for the hips, it works wonders on elbows, knees, and any areas prone to strawberry skin.
Plus, the cute heart-shaped pink design and sweet peach scent make it a perfect souvenir for friends.

6. Ichiran Ramen Classic Meal Kit
Yes, you can buy the famous Ichiran Ramen to make at home! It makes for an incredible souvenir, and the taste is surprisingly close to what you get at the actual restaurant.
I highly recommend dining at the Dotonbori shop first, then bringing this kit home to recreate the experience and compare the flavors!

7. Meiji Rich Chocolate (Strawberry & Matcha)
Meiji chocolate needs no introduction—it is incredibly rich, velvety, and melts in your mouth.
While the strawberry flavor is widely exported, the rich Uji Matcha flavor is harder to find outside of Japan!
Matcha lovers absolutely need to hoard these. They are individually wrapped, making them perfect to share with coworkers or keep on your desk for a quick afternoon pick-me-up.

8. Morinaga Sea Salt Caramels
The sweet-and-salty balance of these caramels is mind-blowing. Seriously, why did I only buy one bag?!
Once you unwrap one, the addictive sweet-and-savory contrast will have you reaching for another. You literally cannot stop.

9. Bourbon Lumonde Crepe Cookies
Hands down, the best Japanese snack I tried on this trip. Another item I deeply regret only buying one bag of—I might need to book another flight to Osaka just for these!
These feature layers of ultra-flaky, crispy crepe cookies coated in a smooth, light cocoa cream. They are perfectly sweet, incredibly airy, and loved by everyone.
Bring these into the office, and you will instantly be crowned the best souvenir giver!
