How to Grab Your ¥1500 Discount Coupon

First, open your KakaoPay app.

On the search screen, click on 'Overseas Travel Discount Coupons', or navigate through 'All' - 'Payment' - 'Overseas Travel Discount Coupons'.

This will take you to a screen similar to Alipay. If Japan is set as your country, simply click on 'Get Don Quijote ¥1,500 Discount Now' at the bottom.

You might find yourself wondering how to use it since there's no barcode. Don't worry, I'll show you exactly how below!

✔️Minimum spend of ¥15,000 or more to qualify for the discount.

✔️Applied on a first-come, first-served basis daily, so it might not be available if the daily quota runs out.

How to Use Your Coupon

The ¥1,500 coupon is automatically applied when you make an overseas payment with KakaoPay, so there's no need to manually activate it.

However, you must click the globe icon above your KakaoPay barcode and change your country to Japan.

This will change your barcode to an Alipay barcode. You can then use this to complete your payment.

Can You Combine Tax-Free & KakaoPay Discounts?
