During my trip to Da Nang, I picked up a Longchamp mini bag that I've been happily carrying ever since. It used to be called Blue Story last year, but when I visited this year (2026), the store's name had changed to Mellier.
They mentioned that the service was the same and nothing else had changed, and that was certainly my impression during my visit this year. However, some of the colors I saw last year weren't available this year, so it seems their stock and color selection might vary.
Let's dive into the store's ambiance, the variety of bags, the price of the mini bag, and my personal experience using it!

Mellier (formerly Blue Story) Location

Mellier (previously Blue Story) in Da Nang is conveniently located near Han Market. I actually explored Han Market first before heading over to the shop.

It's right next to Han Market, less than a 5-minute walk, so I was able to combine my shopping into one easy trip. I decided to visit because I heard they had a wide variety of Longchamp bags in different sizes and colors.

I took a lot of photos last year, so I didn't take new ones when I visited this year (2026) after it changed to 'Mellier'. Just a heads-up, the Blue Story sign has definitely been replaced by Mellier!
Inside the Store

As soon as I stepped inside, the blast of air conditioning was a welcome relief! Just as its reputation suggested, there were so many Longchamp bags on display. The neat and organized presentation definitely made them catch my eye.

Beyond Longchamp bags, they also had a diverse selection of luggage, all neatly arranged. My husband, C, seemed quite interested in the suitcases and was inspecting them closely.
He considered buying one if the price was right, but after we left, he felt the pricing was a bit ambiguous. Haha!

Just a quick tip: I always ask permission before taking photos. It's essential to check, as some places have rules against photography these days!

They also had a huge selection of Bao Bao bags in many colors. I was told that the higher-quality items were displayed in a separate section further inside. Bao Bao bags tend to be a love-it-or-hate-it design, so I just glanced at them and didn't take a closer look.

They also sell ribbon scarves to tie onto Longchamp bag handles, and the service to attach them costs less than a dollar.
Easy to Choose Colors

My sole focus was on the Longchamp bags, so I examined them in great detail.

Initially, I thought I'd just buy one for fun, but seeing them in person made me want to buy even more! They had so many vibrant and diverse colors.

However, when you're actually about to make a purchase, you have to consider how it will coordinate with your existing wardrobe, right? So, I mostly looked at more versatile, neutral colors, but I also thought buying one bright, cheerful color would be a great idea.

The main reason people visit Mellier (formerly Blue Story) is for the quality, and it's clear why. Just from observing the bags on display, the stitching and finishing definitely looked better than what I saw at Han Market.
Also, I've heard about some recent issues with unhelpful staff, but both last year and this year (2026), everyone was incredibly friendly. They encouraged me to examine the bags closely and even try them on.

I ended up purchasing the Longchamp mini bag I had originally intended to buy. I paid 120,000 Vietnamese Dong in cash.

This is the color I bought, and I've been using it consistently for over half a year now. It's surprisingly versatile! Adding a cute keychain can make it look even more charming and less "old-fashioned." Haha!
It pairs well with everything from casual outfits to dresses, and it perfectly fits my phone, card wallet, car keys, and lip balm. It's quite spacious, don't you think? :)

Honestly, I bought this type of bag mostly for fun, so I wasn't overly concerned about the quality. However, the strap stitching is secure, and the zipper opens and closes smoothly.
When I visited this year (2026), I was hoping to buy another one in a color I had noticed last year, but it wasn't available. So, if you find a color you love when you visit, I highly recommend buying it on the spot! :)
I've been using mine so much that I'm seriously considering getting another one next time. Ha ha!
