In Da Nang, Vietnam,
I spent two blissful nights at the 5-star resort, Hyatt Regency Da Nang,
where just eating and swimming made me so happy!
With five swimming pools,
I never got tired of just swimming every day.

The Hyatt resort's grounds are incredibly vast
and the landscaping is so beautifully maintained,
it was a truly blissful place just for a stroll.
For those looking to enjoy a relaxing 'hocance' (hotel vacation)

Pricing Information

The Hyatt Regency Da Nang
is a 5-star resort,
and compared to other hotels in Da Nang,
the price range is a bit on the higher side.
I visited in late June
for a 2-night stay from Friday to Sunday,
and paid in the mid to high ~$200s per night.
October to November is the rainy season in Da Nang, making it the low season,
but the peak season starts in December.

With the super peak season in December approaching,
some places have already seen prices rise to ~$290-~$365 per night,
and some dates are occasionally sold out.
However, if you book right now,
even including weekends,
you can still find reservations for as low as ~$146 per night!
~$164 | ~$167 |

Hyatt Regency Da Nang
A 2-Night Review
At Hyatt Regency Da Nang,
you'll find a wide range of accommodation options,
from standard resort rooms and suites to
residences and even 3-bedroom pool villas!

I stayed for two nights in a
standard King Bed Ocean View room.
Even though it was a standard room,
unlike typical hotel rooms,
it was a spacious 40m², so
I never felt cramped at all!

It came with a king-size bed,
a four-seater sofa, and a table, plus
ample space to store clothes and luggage.
It was incredibly convenient!
The room types are incredibly diverse,
so if you're traveling as a couple like me, a standard resort room is perfect.
For those traveling with young children, a residence with simple cooking facilities is ideal,
and for families or groups of friends,
staying in a pool villa would be absolutely amazing!

The view from the balcony was also
incredibly refreshing!
While there were many trees and a pool villa in front,
making it a slightly obstructed ocean view,
my entire stay was
peaceful and quiet.

Pools
Hyatt Regency Da Nang boasts
an impressive five swimming pools!

There's a small lap pool, a pool with a sandy beach,
and even a pool with inflatable play structures for kids!

I spent my time exclusively at the main pool,
and with so many different pools to choose from,
there was always plenty of space,
which was fantastic!

We were able to enjoy some beer from the supermarket
right on the poolside loungers.
We swam all day and ordered simple dishes like
banh mi and burgers from the pool bar!
Towels for the pool are provided
unlimited, and they'll even inflate your floats for you!

Private Beach

Hyatt Regency Da Nang is directly
connected to Non Nuoc Beach.

The sandy beach is well-equipped with
beach chairs for guests to relax on,
hammocks, and various other comfortable spots
to unwind.

We bravely ventured out to try swimming in the ocean,
but since it was late June, the sun was scorching hot,
so we quickly retreated back to the pool, haha!

Breakfast Restaurant
Honestly, we love eating local food,
so we usually don't eat hotel breakfast.
This time, we booked an option
without breakfast included.
However, when we checked in, we saw that
the breakfast spread looked really impressive!
If you've booked without breakfast,
you can just head to one of the three breakfast restaurants
in the morning without a separate reservation and choose your preferred spot.
If you tell them your room number,
you can charge breakfast to your room!
(For one adult, approximately ~$26)

The restaurant's interior was truly
beautiful everywhere you looked,
it was all so lovely!

It wasn't just a buffet with a basic setup;
from salads to local dishes,
desserts, various breads, and juices, everything
was so harmoniously arranged,
and whatever I ate, the quality was truly high.
There's even a Korean food corner!
And the breakfast buffet's pho (rice noodles),
and banh mi are truly delicious haha!
I've been to many restaurants
said to be delicious in Da Nang and Hoi An,
but I honestly think the Da Nang Hyatt's pho
was the best haha!

The Da Nang Hyatt has three breakfast
buffet venues!
They say all three places have similar menus,
but among them, the main restaurant,
Osteria Al Mare,
has the best taste!
Perhaps that's why the main restaurant
even tends to have a wait for breakfast!
If you visit Da Nang Hyatt,
you absolutely must try their breakfast buffet!
With so much delicious food,
you won't regret it!
Why we chose the Da Nang Hyatt Regency
In Da Nang,
besides the Hyatt Regency,
there are also Furama Resort,
Da Nang Marriott (formerly Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang),
and Mikazuki Japanese Resort,
among other impressive 5-star resorts.
Each of Da Nang's 5-star resorts
has slightly different target guests and features.
Comparison of Da Nang's 5-star Resort Features
Mikazuki Japanese Resort | Features a water park and hot spring day passes Water park access available even if not staying overnight |
Furama Resort Da Nang | As Da Nang's first 5-star resort, it's close to luxury golf courses like Montgomery Links, making it popular with golf travelers and honeymooners. Its history gives it a classic image. |
Da Nang Marriott Resort | The most similar resort to Hyatt Regency Being a Marriott property, Bonvoy points can be used. The most affordable among the resorts compared. |
Da Nang Hyatt Regency | A large family-friendly resort with 5 swimming pools, kids' programs, tennis courts, etc. |
Since we love swimming so much,
and were drawn to its diverse pool options
and modern atmosphere,
we ended up choosing the Hyatt Regency Da Nang.

From breakfast, to the landscaping, pools,
and spacious room size,
there wasn't a single thing we weren't satisfied with,
and we had a truly enjoyable luxurious hotel stay.
We recommend this for those who:
✔️ Are looking for a modern and clean 5-star resort in Da Nang
