01. Family Trip to Da Nang, Vietnam

You all know how much I adore Vietnam, right? I usually enjoy traveling to Da Nang several times a year. It's such a popular Southeast Asian resort destination that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can easily enjoy. So this time, my niece, sister-in-law, and I – three women – decided to take an affordable red-eye flight without any hesitation.
Arriving late at Da Nang Airport, I felt it would be a waste to stay in a luxurious resort from the very first night. So, I decided to do a '0.5-night' stay at my favorite Da Nang city hotel, Wink Hotel.

With their 24-hour stay system, you can stay for a full 24 hours from your check-in time. This means even if you arrive late at night, you can check out late the next day, saving your energy and money, and allowing you to plan a much richer itinerary!
While I've visited this Da Nang accommodation many times, even my niece and sister-in-law, who were visiting for the first time, were surprised by its location and incredible value for money.

Of course, I booked Wink Hotel on Agoda at a discounted price. They even have family rooms, making it a great choice for family trips. This page compares prices not just for Wink but also for other great value accommodations nearby, so be sure to check it out when you book!
We booked a spacious Wink Luxe Cityview room, perfect for families, for about ~$76 per night.
A 20m² city view twin-bed room for two, including breakfast, is an incredible ~$35 per night – talk about amazing value!
As someone who has visited many times, I'll give you a detailed introduction to my beloved regular Da Nang hotel, Wink Hotel – from its location and room condition to its breakfast.
02. Getting to Wink Hotel: Perfect for Families

After taking a red-eye flight, we arrived at Da Nang Airport around midnight Korean time.
The distance from Wink Da Nang Hotel to the airport is only about 3km, so we were able to get there quickly by taxi.

Take the elevator up to the 19th floor, and you'll find the front desk on the same floor as the breakfast restaurant. There's no separate deposit required, and you'll self-check-in by scanning all guests' passports at a kiosk. But don't worry, staff are always on hand to assist if needed!

It's renowned as a great 0.5-night accommodation in Da Nang for its excellent location. You can even walk to Han Market, Pink Church, and Dragon Bridge, ensuring you enjoy a fulfilling sightseeing itinerary, even with a short 0.5-night stay.
The one minor downside about Wink Hotel Da Nang Centre is...
One thing to note is that it's a bit of a distance from the beach.

Another great perk is the complimentary shuttle bus service that runs daily along a set route, taking guests from Wink Hotel to Wink Icon Danang Riverside Hotel and finally to Maia Beach Bar, no reservations needed!
03. Room Condition & Amenities

It was practically dawn when we checked in,
so my niece promptly crashed!

My sister and I quickly freshened up and drifted off too,
but when I opened my eyes in the morning, the view was absolutely breathtaking!
Even though this is a Vietnamese hotel I’ve visited many times,
each room has such a unique size and style,
it’s always exciting to experience a different one
every time I come back!

I made sure to request a high-floor room when booking,
and wow, the Han River view featuring the majestic Dragon Bridge was absolutely stunning! My niece, fresh from her shower,
was captivated by the window for ages, just soaking it all in.

The Wink Luxe Cityview room, ideal for families,
featured one king bed and a bunk bed.
The clever design with the smaller bunk bed elevated on a half-level made it super cozy, and my niece absolutely adored it, turning it into her very own secret hideaway!

While in the past, a range of amenities including toothbrushes and toothpaste were readily available, now, with new eco-friendly policies, most accommodations in Da Nang are limiting the provision of single-use items.
If you find yourself needing anything, you can grab it at a very reasonable price from the vending machine located on the 19th-floor reception level. Just a helpful tip!

In the bathroom, you'll find shampoo, conditioner,
and body wash in convenient shared dispensers.
Plus, there’s a hairdryer that offers a refreshing cool breeze!
Built in 2022, this is a relatively new building,
and I’ve been staying here since its early opening days.
You can expect clean water and a super tidy bathroom, which is always a plus!

The bedding is spotlessly clean, too.
There's a handy small table,
perfect for setting up a laptop and getting some light work done,
and a TV to keep you entertained and stave off any boredom!

And for a unique touch, the welcome bottled water is served
in stylish glass bottles!
04. Breakfast & Facilities

When Wink Hotel first opened,
there were some comments about the breakfast being a bit modest.
But you know what? It seems to get a fantastic upgrade every single year I visit!

If you choose a value-for-money room, it's about ~$35 per night, including breakfast.
For that price, you get freshly made pho and omelets,
a rich spread of vegetables, fruits, delicious bakery items, various main dishes, and fruit juices –
I truly believe that’s an incredible deal!

Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM,
which feels like plenty of time to leisurely enjoy your morning meal!

The breakfast restaurant is located on the 19th floor,
offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the Han River, Dragon Bridge, Pink Church, and Han Market.
The scenery is truly a work of art, capturing it all at a glance.
Even if you've already enjoyed breakfast at a local pho spot near the hotel,
I highly recommend taking some time to relax with fruit and a cup of coffee at the hotel restaurant.
It's a moment of tranquility you won't want to miss!

With a variety of convenient facilities gathered on the 19th floor,
they're incredibly easy to access and use.
There's a spotless 24-hour gym,

coin-operated washers and dryers,

and a laundry room complete with a freely available iron.
So make sure to make the most of these fantastic facilities at this value-for-money Vietnamese hotel!
05. Concluding Our Stay at a Da Nang City Hotel

With the flexibility of a 24-hour stay,
if you visit without high expectations for a flexible, value-for-money short stay (a '0.5-night' option),
you'll be amazed by its prime location within walking distance of major attractions, fantastic city views, immaculate rooms, and
a sophisticated breakfast buffet.

I've just introduced you to a popular Da Nang hotel, often chosen for stays at the beginning or end of a Vietnam trip.
I hope my insights into Wink Hotel can be of some help
for your own adventure in Vietnam.
Wishing you a safe and wonderful journey!
