Booking the Da Nang Orchid Lounge
Typically, I find myself using airport lounges before international flights from my home country. However, during my recent trip to Da Nang, I was surprised by how quickly I cleared immigration and security. This left me with a bit of extra time before my flight, so I decided to check out the CIP Orchid Lounge. Turns out, there are two of them, and I managed to visit both!
You'll find Orchid Lounge 2 conveniently located on the way to Gates 1-5, while Orchid Lounge 1 is situated towards Gates 6-10. It's not really about one being definitively 'better' than the other; most travelers naturally gravitate towards the lounge closest to their departure gate. However, since Da Nang Airport isn't massive, you could easily walk to your preferred lounge if you have a favorite. As I'll show in the photos below, Lounge 1 generally offers a wider variety of seating options and feels a bit more spacious and relaxed.
The walk-in price for the Orchid Lounge is generally around $27 USD. While this might seem a bit steep compared to general Vietnamese prices, airport pricing is always a different ball game, right? If you have a Priority Pass (PP) card, you can use that for access. Otherwise, booking through a travel platform usually offers a better deal and is more convenient. I'll compare prices from various platforms further down.
After you've cleared security, the Da Nang Orchid Lounges are pretty easy to find. Just head out, and you'll spot one to your left and the other to your right. Follow the signs, and you'll be there in no time.
You'll find all the essentials here: instant noodles (both Korean Kimchi Ramen and local Vietnamese options), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), salads, fresh fruits, and a variety of beverages. It's enough to grab a quick, satisfying bite before your flight.
Orchid Lounge 1 boasted a variety of seating types, making it ideal for relaxing or even getting some work done before a long flight. With plenty of seats, the space felt consistently open and uncrowded. The Da Nang Orchid Lounge operating hours are listed as 24/7, and it was certainly open until the last late-night flights departed when I visited.

Located near Gates 1-5, it's clearly signposted, so you won't have any trouble finding it.
