The Cups Coffee Roastery Location

The Cups Coffee Roastery is situated on the southern side of My Khe Beach. It's a bit of a trek from popular tourist spots like Han Market or the Pink Cathedral, requiring about a 15-minute taxi ride towards the beach to reach it.

As you face the building, you'll notice The Cups Coffee Roastery on the left and Bread & Butter on the right, operating as distinct but connected entities. Once inside, you can freely move between both spaces. Since both offer delicious baked goods, you can choose whichever suits your mood. I opted to focus on The Cups Coffee for this review, so let's dive in!
Inside The Cups Coffee

The Cups Coffee is ideal for solo visitors or duos, especially if you're looking to get some work done on your laptop. Unlike some large chain cafes, you won't feel rushed or get any side-eye from staff if you linger for a while.

I briefly stepped over to the B&B Bakery side. It definitely has a different vibe, doesn't it? This area is primarily set up with four-person tables, making it perfect for groups of three or more friends or families.

The selection of breads here is truly impressive. If you're a pastry lover, this spot is an absolute must-visit. The pastries in the middle section are so enticing, it's hard to tell which shop they belong to!

A banana cake, similar to a financier, costs 25,000 VND. This translates to only ~$1, which is incredibly affordable. Other pastries are typically no more than ~$2, maybe ~$3 at most, making it almost a crime not to try them! It really makes you appreciate the value here compared to prices back home.

Among the desserts at B&B, I found some intriguing options. The 'chocolate bonbons,' for instance, were glistening with a rich sheen, looking absolutely delectable.

Desserts topped with mango and strawberries also looked incredibly appealing. With such a presentation, these would easily cost upwards of $12 in many Western countries, but here in Vietnam, they're around 100,000 VND, which is roughly ~$4.
Menu

Most restaurants and cafes in Da Nang offer menus in English, making ordering a breeze. I simply ordered an Iced Latte for 75,000 VND, which came out to about ~$3.

It was fascinating to see two distinct cafes operating side-by-side within the same building, without any dividing wall. It's truly hard to pick a favorite, as both offered excellent selections of pastries and desserts. Instead of choosing one beforehand, I recommend taking your time to explore both sides before making your decision.

I hope you enjoyed this introduction to The Cups Coffee Roastery and B&B Bakery near Da Nang's My Khe Beach. This large cafe on the southern end of My Khe Beach is perfect for unwinding after a stroll along the shore, or for escaping the afternoon heat in its air-conditioned comfort. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish cafe with a great atmosphere.
