Da Nang to Hoi An Transport Guide 2026: Grab, InDrive & Private Pickups

Planning your journey from Da Nang to the enchanting ancient town of Hoi An? You've got three main ways to get there, each offering different levels of convenience and cost.

Shuttle buses typically drop passengers about a 10-minute drive from Hoi An's Old Town, meaning you might need another short ride to reach your final destination.

Grab and InDrive: Ride-Hailing Apps

Traveling around Vietnam, you've probably already become familiar with Grab for taxis. Let's see how much a Grab ride from Da Nang to Hoi An would set you back.

A Grab ride to Hoi An came out to around ~$12. If you're a solo traveler like me, I often opt for Grab bikes for shorter distances and then switch to InDrive for longer trips. I only recently installed InDrive, but I've found it to be significantly cheaper than Grab.
