And indeed, once you step inside, you'll find an incredible number of clothing stalls.

Dresses and apparel hang densely on both sides, and the aisles are quite narrow, which means that when it's crowded, it can be a challenge to browse leisurely.

You'll also discover plenty of stalls selling beautiful rattan bags, baskets, and various accessories.

For travel souvenirs, there are adorable knitted dolls and a plethora of small trinkets perfect for gifts.

My Personal Experience: Was It Worth It?

Since I missed Han Market on a previous trip, I was really keen to check it out this time.

And I can confirm, there's a ton to see and plenty of items to shop for.

However, when I visited, the weather was quite hot, and the market was packed with people.

The clothing sections, in particular, had very narrow aisles, which meant constantly squeezing past other shoppers.

Plus, there was a distinct market smell that made it a bit challenging to linger and shop comfortably for long periods.

So, for me personally, while I'm glad I experienced it once, I probably wouldn't make a point to revisit it on my next trip to Da Nang.

That said, if you love exploring traditional markets and enjoy the process of comparing goods and haggling for clothes and bags, then it's definitely worth a visit.

Exploring the Nearby L Store

After navigating Han Market, it's a great idea to combine your visit with a stop at the nearby L Store.

The atmosphere here is a complete contrast to the bustling market.

You'll find coffee, tea, and souvenirs neatly organized, creating a much more relaxed environment for browsing products.

Based on my visit, Mango Coffee was priced at ~$9, and Weasel Drip coffee was ~$10. (Prices are approximate and subject to change in 2026).

The store features dedicated sections for different coffee varieties, a tasting corner, and other items like teas and eco-friendly bags. It might be small, but it's thoughtfully curated.

Final Thoughts

Da Nang's Han Market is truly a one-stop shop where you can explore a vast array of goods, from clothing and bags to souvenirs and local foods.

However, during my visit, the crowds and narrow aisles made for a less-than-relaxing shopping experience.
