[Vietnam / 4 Nights, 6 Days] Da Nang Family Trip with a 3-Year-Old: Han Market, Moc Restaurant - Day 3-1
Hey everyone!
Today, we're diving into our Da Nang Day 3 review!
A quick shot before heading to breakfast!
The weather was a bit gloomy... and it was raining lightly.
Breakfast was absolutely delightful!
It was clear there were many families at the resort,
with plenty of options for the kids,
and even some Korean dishes!
However, there weren't any soup dishes,
so Kongtteok (our little one) only had a little omelet and pancakes, haha.
After a quick breakfast, shall we dive into today's adventures!
We returned to Han Market because we didn't get enough time to explore it yesterday!
(My mother-in-law and I headed to the market,
while Kongtteok and my husband went to a kids' cafe.)
Han Market can be a bit cramped and there's no air conditioning,
so it gets incredibly hot!
I sought out shop #277 because I'd heard good things about their friendly service,
and sure enough, it was bustling with people!
I even came prepared with a price list I'd researched online,
but bargaining wasn't as easy as I thought.
And since it was sweltering inside Han Market ㅠ
I only tried to haggle once,
and if it didn't work, I just went ahead and bought it.
I was eager to make my escape, haha!
After snagging a bag at shop #277,
I wandered around and picked up
some Crocs, several Nike t-shirts for my husband,
my own Nike pants, and more.
After buying so many things, my hands were getting pretty full, haha!
When I exchanged money, I confidently thought, "This should definitely be enough, right?"
But later, when I tallied everything up,
I realized I’d spent quite a bit, hehe.
Oh, the joy of shopping!
Meanwhile! My husband and Kongtteok were having a blast at the kids' cafe!
It's located on the 3rd floor of Vincom Plaza and it's called
funny kids

Since it was a weekend, my husband mentioned there were lots of local kids!
With no time limit, it meant that as the hours passed,
nobody left, and the place just kept getting busier and busier, haha!
The facilities are a bit older, so there were some loose screws here and there,
making it a bit risky to leave a child completely unsupervised.
While there are lockers, they don't have keys, so you can't lock them,
best to keep your valuables with you!
The floor wasn't super clean,
so Kongtteok kept his socks on.
Plus, the building itself wasn't well-cooled,
so my husband said he got incredibly sweaty, haha!
After finishing our shopping spree at Han Market,
it was time to head to Moc Restaurant!
This spot is definitely one of Da Nang's must-try culinary experiences,
and we made sure to snag a reservation in advance too.

and book your table there.
It's definitely a popular spot,
and I really wanted to go for dinner, but reservations were completely full,
so I ended up booking for lunch instead.

You can see tons of motorbikes parked outside – a clear sign of its popularity with locals!
I told the staff member at the entrance my reservation name,
and they promptly guided me to my seat.
Alright, ready to dive into the menu and order some deliciousness?
The menu had so many incredible options, it was hard to choose!
So, I only snapped photos of what we actually ordered.

We also ordered some local beer, bottled water, and a refreshing mango juice.

The porridge arrived first,
and it was the perfect light start to our meal.

As expected, the squid was incredibly tender and perfectly chewy!
Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce
The best part? A staff member came right over to peel all the shrimp for us!
Such fantastic service!
After enjoying the shrimp, we had plenty of delicious sauce left over.
Drizzling it all over the garlic fried rice was an absolute game-changer – truly exquisite!

Razor Clams and Stir-fried Morning Glory / Scallops with Scallion Oil
I heard the razor clams were incredibly delicious,
but for me, they were just okay.
But!
The Scallops with Scallion Oil!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness, they were SO unbelievably delicious ㅠㅠ
Seriously, they were so incredibly good, I could have eaten nothing but these!
Ugh, I'm already craving them again!

Han Market Store No. 277 was known for its friendliness and attracted many visitors. However, the market interior was narrow and had no air conditioning, making it very hot. Bargaining was not easy, so the author reportedly made a quick purchase.
The admission fee for children at Funny Kids is 100,000 VND on weekdays and 120,000 VND on weekends, with one guardian admitted free. The facilities are old, with loose screws in some places, and there are no locker keys, so care should be taken with valuables.
You can reserve Da Nang Moc Seafood Restaurant by searching for '다낭 목 해산물 식당' (Da Nang Moc Seafood Restaurant) on Kakao Channel. Dinner reservations fill up quickly, so it's advisable to book in advance. The 'Grilled Scallops with Spring Onion Oil' was particularly recommended as delicious.
The kids cafe building itself was not cool, so children sweated a lot. Also, the floor was not very clean, so the author had their child wear socks, and mentioned that safety precautions should be taken due to the outdated facilities.
