'Da Nang' always leaves travelers with one big dilemma:
Which resort is best for the ultimate staycation?
To give you the short answer,
if your goal is pure relaxation, I absolutely recommend Fusion Resort.
All rooms are spacious suites or higher, and
since a 50-minute MAIA SPA massage per person per night is included,
it was the perfect place to spend a whole day just unwinding inside the resort.

The biggest advantage of Fusion Resort Da Nang is that
every single room starts from a suite type.
Instead of a typical hotel layout with just a bed,
it offers a generous space with separate living and sleeping areas,
meaning you can spread out multiple suitcases and still feel completely uncluttered.
Because of my job, I stay in a lot of hotels,
and the very first thought I had as soon as I walked in was,
"Yep, this is definitely a true staycation resort."
It's the kind of place where you could happily stay in your room all day long.
They did a fantastic job with the layout and space optimization.

You can start watching a movie in bed, and with just a quick swivel,
keep streaming your favorite shows right from the bathtub.
It's those little details that show how much thought they put into the guest experience.
True to its wellness resort concept,
the room amenities were incredibly luxurious,
and they were super generous with bottled water, coffee, and tea.
The bedding was so incredibly comfortable that I slept like a baby,
and the excellent soundproofing meant I could fully relax in complete peace and quiet.
3. Spa (Complimentary 50-Minute Massage per Night)

is definitely the MAIA SPA.

and honestly, this spa experience alone

'Deep Tissue Treatment,' which uses elbows to release deep muscle tension.

After your treatment, make sure to visit the
adults-only heated pool located right inside the spa building.
It's incredibly peaceful and unhurried,
and the area is so gorgeous—perfect for relaxing and snapping some aesthetic photos.
Right next to it, there's also a sauna and steam room,
so it doesn't just end with a simple massage—
it truly feels like you're experiencing a proper "wellness program."
This was definitely a major highlight that sets it apart from other resorts in Da Nang.

4. Pools & Private Beach
At Fusion Resort, lounging in your room,
swimming in the pool, taking a stroll along the beach,
and then relaxing on a sunbed again... spending a day like this
was absolutely pure bliss.
I especially loved how the main pool and Non Nuoc Beach
are seamlessly connected,
so you don't have to walk far at all to transition between them.
The Main Pool
The main pool is located right in front of the restaurant,
making it super convenient to jump right in for a swim after breakfast!
With its long, sweeping infinity design,
it frames the palm trees and the ocean beautifully, creating an incredibly open vibe.
And yes, it's absolutely Instagram-worthy!
The morning is perfect for a peaceful swim,
while the afternoon is ideal for lounging on a sunbed and doing absolutely nothing.
Personally, 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM was my favorite time!
Since most guests are busy having breakfast during those hours,
it's quiet enough to snap some great photos without crowds,
and the sun isn't too harsh yet—making it the perfect time for a swim.
Private Beach
Just a few steps from the pool,
you'll find the stunning Non Nuoc Beach right in front of you.
Unlike My Khe Beach, it's much quieter and less crowded,
making it the perfect spot for a scenic walk or just listening to the waves.
There are sunbeds, parasols,
and various photo spots set up along the beach,
so I highly recommend taking a stroll down here and spending some quality beach time.
5. Breakfast

Breakfast at Fusion Resort Da Nang
isn't just your typical buffet packed with endless options.
In line with their wellness resort philosophy,
it centers around fresh ingredients and healthy options
to kickstart your day on a nourishing note.
The selection of fruits and salads was incredibly diverse,
and with the live cooking stations on point,
I was able to enjoy a hearty and satisfying meal every morning.

Especially the pho, which is an absolute must-eat on any trip to Vietnam,
was so delicious that I could have eaten it every single morning without getting tired of it.
Since it's made fresh to order, the broth was incredibly clean and light,
and you can customize it with your own choice of fresh herbs and sauces,
which made it super satisfying.
But what I loved most of all
was the atmosphere of the dining area.
Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the pool and palm trees,
and from the outdoor terrace seating, you can overlook the pool
as well as the beach stretching out in the distance while enjoying a relaxed meal.
It really made me feel like I was on the perfect vacation right from the start of the morning.
I arrived right when it opened,
so it wasn't crowded, and I could enjoy a quiet, peaceful meal.
On the other hand, after 8:00 AM,
the crowd tends to pick up quite a bit,
so if you want to dine at a more leisurely pace,
I highly recommend heading down early like I did!

It is located about 20 to 25 minutes away from Da Nang International Airport. It takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to reach Hoi An Old Town, making it convenient to include in your sightseeing plans.
Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Since the number of guests increases significantly after 8:00 AM, we recommend visiting right at opening time if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience.
