we embarked on a quest to find the perfect Da Nang resort suitable for a group of five: my parents (in their 50s), adult children (in their 20s), and an 11-year-old child.
‼️ Since we focused on resorts in Da Nang featuring two-bedroom layouts for a luxurious stay‼️,
this detailed comparison of Da Nang resorts, highlighting their pros and cons, should be incredibly helpful for families, including those with children, who are planning a trip and desire comfortable, private spaces for everyone.
(Our family's ultimate choice was the Two-Bedroom Ocean View Premium Pool Room at Fusion Resort Da Nang, and I'll explain why below!)
Our Search Criteria
✔️ Room Configuration: A two-bedroom setup is essential (for 4 adults + 1 child).
✔️ Breakfast Inclusion: Given that dining options can sometimes be limited within Da Nang resort complexes, breakfast inclusion was a top priority.

Fusion Resort Da Nang, a brand-new resort that opened in June 2024!
It boasts a private beach along Non Nuoc and offers a variety of wellness programs.
Our top choice, the Two-Bedroom Premium Pool Suite, stood out with its in-room private pool, allowing for a refreshing dip anytime. Another huge perk: it's a spa-inclusive room, meaning guests 16 and older receive one complimentary spa treatment per day!
Located about a 20-minute drive from the airport and 30 minutes from Hoi An Old Town, it's a bit further from the city center.
What We Loved
Ocean view + two bedrooms + living room + in-room pool = unparalleled luxury
Ocean view rooms include one daily spa treatment (for guests 16+, 50 minutes)
Kids' club with engaging activities for children
As a newer resort, the facilities are pristine and well-maintained
Breakfast included with all room types
Excellent water quality in pools
Things to Consider
About a 30-minute drive to Da Nang city center, so less convenient for city access
Additional charges for children and spa access not available for guests under 16

A prominent Marriott-branded resort on Da Nang's Non Nuoc Beach.
There's the Non Nuoc Marriott and a general Marriott, but during our travel dates, the Non Nuoc option was slightly more affordable.
We primarily considered the Garden View Two-Bedroom Pool Villa.
They seem to offer a variety of kids' programs, though detailed information was a bit scarce.

Naman Retreat, a smaller, private resort located on Non Nuoc Beach,
offers room options similar to Fusion, with choices between apartment-style and pool villa-style accommodations.
I wanted to learn more about the free activities offered by the resort, but information was hard to find, possibly due to frequent changes.
Their pool villa options also include spa-inclusive packages!
What We Loved

With five swimming pools, a thrilling water slide, a dedicated kids' pool, and robust kids' activities, it's consistently popular with families traveling with children.
We considered their two-bedroom residences. The kitchens in the residences are also suitable for light cooking.

6. Other Candidates We Considered
Shilla Monogram Da Nang — Good facilities and two-bedroom options, but the rooms seemed smaller than Fusion's and lacked in-room pools. A great choice for couples or families with very young children.
Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa — We excluded this one because the rooms had a Japanese aesthetic, which didn't quite fit our desire for a Vietnamese experience, but its main advantage is Vietnam's largest indoor water park.
