Da Nang Ba Na Hills Day Tours

You have a few options for transportation. You could haggle with a Grab driver, rent a private car, or if you're traveling with a larger group and prefer maximum convenience, a private transfer is ideal. For a more budget-friendly approach without sacrificing ease, a shared day tour is an excellent choice. These tours typically handle your round-trip transportation, allowing you to explore Ba Na Hills independently once you arrive.

Getting to Ba Na Hills from Da Nang

When I visited, I opted for a convenient shuttle bus. The pickup point was a local cafe, so I enjoyed an iced coffee while waiting for my ride.

They even handed out a handy eco-bag! At first, I thought it might just be extra clutter, but it turned out to be incredibly useful for carrying all my essentials throughout the day.
Experiencing the Golden Bridge

Upon arrival, after snapping a quick photo at the entrance, it's time to hop on the impressive cable car. This ride is quite long, but the stunning panoramic views prevent it from feeling tedious.

My first stop after disembarking was, of course, the Golden Bridge. As expected, it was bustling with visitors, all eager to capture that perfect shot. You'll need to be quick to snag a good spot for your photos! While it's generally crowded, I found that the afternoon had slightly fewer people than the morning during my visit.

After the Golden Bridge, the rest of Ba Na Hills is yours to explore freely. It's surprisingly vast, and if you wander without a plan, you might find yourself backtracking. Honestly, even with a map, it can feel a bit like a whimsical maze, but you'll get the hang of it as you go.

While navigating with a map has its merits, I highly recommend letting yourself get a little lost. Stumbling upon fairytale-like landscapes unexpectedly, like hidden gardens or charming French villages, truly enhances the magical feeling of the place.

I was quite exhausted from all the walking and exploring, so I didn't try many of the outdoor rides. However, there are several fun attractions available, including thrilling rides! I did make it to the 4D Adventure, which was tucked away in a corner and surprisingly had no waiting line. You'll find it inside the fairytale-like castle.

When hunger strikes or lunchtime rolls around, you'll need to refuel. Some Da Nang Ba Na Hills tickets include an optional buffet, but finding it can be an adventure in itself. I preferred simply grabbing a bite at one of the many cafes and restaurants scattered throughout the park – there are plenty of choices everywhere you look!

Klook's option is typically more expensive because it includes a tour guide. Other platforms often offer independent tours without a guide. Klook usually provides an English-speaking guide, with Korean-speaking guides also available (though this may increase the price further). As of 2026, KKDAY generally offers more competitive pricing, which is why I booked my Da Nang Ba Na Hills tickets through them for my trip. Plus, they even included that thoughtful eco-bag!
