After an incredible trip to Da Nang, I found myself with some extra time before my flight back home, so I decided to make the most of it by visiting the Orchid Lounge!

When I visited, Da Nang International Airport actually had two Orchid Lounges in operation, offering travelers more options for relaxation:

Both lounges are well-equipped with shower facilities and dedicated smoking rooms. Plus, you can enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, to unwind before your journey.

They also feature comfortable massage chairs, spacious relaxation areas, and even workstations for those who need to catch up on a bit of work. It truly felt like a convenient oasis!

This time, I opted for Orchid Lounge 1. Even in the early hours of the morning, it was quite busy with fellow travelers.

If you have a Priority Pass (PP) card, you can usually enter for free. However, since I didn't have one, I booked my lounge access a day in advance. This turned out to be a smart move, as it was slightly cheaper than paying at the door, and I could easily enter by just showing a QR code.

Da Nang is a hugely popular destination for international travelers, so it wasn't surprising to find a good selection of international and even some Korean-inspired dishes available!

The hot food corner offered a fantastic variety, including:

Vietnamese pho, fried rice, sausages, dim sum, tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cakes), various fried items, instant noodles, and fresh bread.

What impressed me most was that even during the quiet early morning hours, the food was consistently replenished and kept warm – a definite plus for those late-night or early-morning departures.

The drink selection was equally impressive. You could freely enjoy a range of options, including:

Beer, white and red wine, various sodas, fruit juices, and coffee.

I enjoyed a refreshing coffee and a cold beer while waiting for my flight – the perfect way to relax before boarding!

One of the biggest perks of the Da Nang Orchid Lounge? The ability to take a refreshing shower!

Simply ask a staff member, and they'll get you set up with a towel. Since I was there in the early morning, there was no wait, and I could use the shower right away. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, making for a truly comfortable experience.

The smoking room is completely separate, so I didn't notice any lingering cigarette smoke within the main lounge area. As a non-smoker, I really appreciated the fresh and pleasant atmosphere.

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to relax before your flight out of Da Nang, I can't recommend the Orchid Lounge enough!

Especially for those red-eye or early morning flights when most airport restaurants are closed, the lounge offers warm food and a great selection of drinks. When you consider the cost of a meal at an airport restaurant, the lounge often provides better value, making it a truly worthwhile investment for a stress-free departure.
